A few girls I work with have said i look a little intimidating, not sure if thats just a kind way of saying ugly

My hair was pretty long before, down to my neck and would get oily real fast if I didn't put some matte product in it. I'll consider the eyebrow thing but wouldnt that push girls further away? I can always tell when a guy has got his eyebrows done
