Hey all, I am looking for ideas or something I could be missing.
Little background, 6'1"
Been lifting for 20 yrs
Currently do 5 (2 heavy/3 hypertrophy) days of lifting....the other 2 days is usually ab work and light cardio (stairmaster or elliptical)
So when I cut down for summer, I just look so stinking small and stringy.
Even now, I am about 175, and if I had to guess around 8- 10% BF
And a pic taken of me from a distance, I just look like a string bean.
So I am wondering if there is something I can do to somehow not look so stringy...I hate this.
I do IF, so for 5 days when I lift, I take in a pretty decent amount of carbs 300-400 gr. My protein is +200 gr everyday.
Fat is >60 gr.
On the 2 days I don't lift, I cut down calories, so carbs are around 100 gr or less.....protein is still +200 gr
Fat is up to around 100 gr.
Obviously I am natural.....but being the Lean and lanky sort, is there something I can do that will still allow me to "look" full

I will, but for now, just trying to be beach ready.
Yes, I would love to get to about 190-195 and cut back from there.....
I was trying to put on weight starting August of last year....got to January this year, got sick. Bronchitis and pneumonia....and lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks. So I was back at where I was when I started....but worse, cause I was weak also. So it has taken me at least a month just to get back to where I was strength wise....and I have leveled off right now around 175. Was at 172 after I lost the 12 lbs.
So when August rolls around again this year, I will jump back to 4000 calories I think.
