I hope Big Ramy's prep isn't missed up, according to Instagram he was scammed out of his money by the promoter for guest posing in Iran, did not sound like a pleasing experience.

It's just that 2012 was the year of the Victorpocalypse - going to prison for several months, and then almost immediately suffering a potentially career-ending injury.
I could easily believe that he upped the dosages beyond what he was comfortable with to regain lost ground. It might not have been Oscar's fault at all. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

I had actually forgotten about that
In the history of Bodybuilding he is a very unique and inspirng story.
Jail....apparently he was the only ped user/seller in the ifbb
Ripped off in 07
wrecked his knee
Sister murdered
not one but two autistic children
Jailed again for another good stretch basically for being jailed the first time from what I understand.
Lost his restaurant
Broke his arm, arm wrestling
I`m hoping for one really awesome thing to happen for this guy in the sport before he`s done, I doubt an Olympia but something awesome like a top 3 finish or a Arnold classic title.Last edited by Nep2une; 04-27-2015 at 06:05 PM.

I like Vic, but no. Until he can pack on the size and condition that he had in '07, his waist will continue to dominate his physique.
seriously? am I the only one that thinks everyone looks soft?
this dude is trolling lmao.
*post pic "3 weeks out" looking like he just left the buffet 20 weeks out*
*post pics a week later looking even worse*
he has to be trolling. has to...imnoting

Am I the only one who finds the lack of conditioning at PRO shows ridiculously unprofessional? They are PROs for god's sake, yet the come in softer than most natural bodybuilders. God, they must know **** about dieting.
With the amount of drugs they should be looking like Ronnie Coleman's ass at 4 weeks out.

Right there with you. Naturals will get in shape to place at a measley regional show hopefully picking up a tub of protein and a trophy. These "pros" get paid to do what they do and still **** it up. Their sponsors should make it clear in their contracts that if they don't come in at their very best or close to it they get the boot.
A pattern in the chaos.

Always assumed it had something to do with some of the drugs they use, that make it more of an hit or miss situation (water retention) while maybe natties only use drugs to get as hard as possible since size isn't as relevant. Obviously this is an assumption based on 0 knowledge, and that can be refuted when we look at phil's contest history for example.

Most guys don't give themselves enough time and aren't THAT meticulous.
Dorian was never out of shape, but he also tracked his calories/training year round and was ready 4 weeks out.
Other IFBB pros get too sloppy, then instead of dieting for 14-18 (which is what they need), they diet for 8-10. When they come in off they blame it on the carb up/food poisoning or the alignment of the stars, they then hang em up, call it a year and we'll see them back again next year.

IMO getting shredded is actually more difficult for the enhanced bodybuilders.
1. They are already holding more muscle than they are meant to, which messes up with natural equilibrium of body. So the danger of losing more muscle/ getting too soft [ along with loosening of skin ] is much more.
2. As unbiased also said, the drugs mess a LOT with all fluids in all the places [ subcutaneous layer of skin, in blood, in stomach, muscle, everywhere]
3. The normal hormonal responses are fkkd up and the body can end up in haphazard state [ like catabolism with T3 usage etc ]. At this level, effects of change in hormones are amplified many times since everything taken, done and observed is EXTREME.
4. Most of the bodybuilders aren't really qualified and educated enough to make the best use of drugs. Remember, they are just tools, and tools are just as good as the man exploiting them.

in be4 this 155 lb lightweight isn't natty....
in be4 gh15 filt conspiracy theory....
There are a lot of fake natties out there, BUT, believe it or not....there are actually people that don't take drugs. Imagine that.
Edit: This lightweight Valentine Ezugha had some of the best shape/condition I've ever seen in person and stomped this heavyweight in the overall at this IFPA show (very respected federation). I stood right next to him and absolutely nothing about his physique said unnatural to me.
hnggggg
Most fake natties are these IG or youtube fitness models with huge contracts and tons of money on the line....most natural pros (in respected federations) have zero incentive to lie or use drugs and make nothing off the sport.Last edited by masthead716; 04-28-2015 at 09:07 AM.

Peaking may be more difficult due to more variables, getting shredded is not, most pros just don't have a meticulous approach. Dorian being the best example of someone who endeavored to maximize every aspect of his life around his prep and did everything he could within his prep to ensure success. He may not have been 100% at every Olympia, but this was never due to a lack of conditioning, even at his worst, his conditioning was still damn good...it's just his body was worn.
You're just further proving the point, let's assume there are NO naturals with "sick conditioning"...ok great, then if they are able to get on that level with less...why can't pros get to that level with more?

I took "peaking" within getting shredded for the competition. If you are not shredded, "peaking" protocols like carbing up and losing all the water etc. isn't gonna do anything IMO. And I agree 100% with rest of the post. It's not everyday that you get to see someone acknowledging DY on this forum.

While I don't expect pro's to come in at their best every time, I would think that since they are professionals after all that they would reach a certain level of conditioning for ever contest. If it's truly a lack of preparation and commitment to their diet and meet some standard then they shouldn't be doing this as a living.

yep because standing next to someone is a solid way to determine natty stats.
But I do agree with the Hnggg part, dude has some Ronnie Cepts and David Henrylike condish. Great shape ALL THE TOOLS are there for him to rule 212 and beyond.. lets hope he pulls a DExter Jackson.Smarten up? NO! SPARTAN UP!

I'll never claim to know someone is natural. I'll say I know someone is unnatural. There are very obvious visual things that can occur that anyone can see. But there are plenty of athletes who do not look like they are on PED's who in fact are and get away with it and beat drug tests for decades. Unless you're psychic you never really know for sure.
