Career? Yes, that's going all set.. benefits, retirement plan set up, student loans almost gone, standard schedule
House? I guess. I prefer to rent for the time being and have a nice apartment. I may look into a condo in the next few years. I just don't want to get stuck doing/paying for maintenance and mowing a giant yard and stuff. Home improvement isn't an interest of mine.
Car? The one I have is reliable for now, but I'm planning to upgrade in 2-3 years
Sloot? See weight. Only at the strip club, but I'm ok with that
Late 20's is a lot more standard and routine than early 20s. Back in college I'd get in a routine with my school and work schedule, only to have it change next quarter. As it is now, I've been on a standard 8 - 5 schedule since 2011. It's a lot easier to plan life around IMO

29 here.
Life is pretty good aside from student loans and making the wrong career choice.
I have a bachelor's and master's degree, good salary, a good girlfriend who's a lawyer, and it's nice having money in the bank and having a perspective on life that can only come with age.
I'm also drowning in a mortgage of student loan debt and work in a field that bores me to death. This makes me long for the days of University life and having the world at you fingertips.
I'm happy, but if I made smarter choices about my tuition and career path I think late 20's would be absolutely incredible. Most guys have started going downhill so if you're good looking and in shape you'll get TONS of attention from females ranging 21-41. You finally start making consistently decent money. Girls you're interested in are mature and intelligent. You still have a lot of choices of how you want to lay the foundation of your future.
I'd say, if you do it right, 27-33 can be the best years of your life.

I don't have a ton of things figured out yet, but luckily I don't have to. I have a nice car and haven't made any horrible life crippling decisions yet. The only thing I don't like about it is that friends are starting to drop off the map with serious girlfriends(including ones who I never figured would do so).
I've been traveling a ton lately, and people respect you a lot more once they believe you're older than about 25.

Im 32. Its good and bad. Career is decent. Could be better, didn't start srs life until about 27. But live in Europe for 3 years. Don't have a house yet. Sloots come n go. More happy now than a decade ago, but fell like I could be further than I am. Still look about mid-20's, can pick up younger sloots.

29, no job and have found myself living back with parents. i've made some chit life choices.
Passed my driving test last year though and bought a car. Also about to finish my level 1 welding course and then will go onto level 2 while looking for a trainee welder position so i can afford my own place.
I seem to average 1 smash a year (except for year with ex) since i was 15. fukin poverty time.
I'm getting there slowly.Last edited by SlimGunz; 04-12-2015 at 08:58 PM.

yes to all in OP, exceeded everything I've ever hoped for but it isn't easy brah... lots of pressure and constantly looking back thinking how easy I had it when I thought I had it hard... Feel like I'm getting old too fast too, life truly is short, make big moves to get ahead as quickly as possible because nobody wants to be in debt their whole lives working until their 60 only to die a few years later, plan your chit out and execute, let nothing get in your way brah.
edit: and I am "tied down with wife and kids" and very happy about it, if you pick the right wife it can help you become more successful than if you were alone... (and yes that is a gamble and you don't know until your a couple years in sometimes, so it's not for everyone)MFC FTW
