8 month progress pic opinions wanted

Left is 185 lbs as of this morning, right is 183 lbs 8 months ago. I'm looking for some honest opinions from you guys.

What kind of progress do you see, if any, between these two pics?

Thanks, I think I'm getting there. Slow and steady wins the race. My lifts have all improved and I'm leaner than I was back then while being up 2 lbs. Gonna lose 5 more lbs to see what 180 looks like.

I think it's a victory as well, but I really wanted to see more gains. I guess I should just embrace this cut as I have a few more lbs to go and I'm gonna look even smaller.

Not at all. I might end up doing a PL meet before the year is out. We'll see what my lifts look like when I'm into my bulk.

^^^ Def see a difference. Maybe the lighting exaggerates it a bit, but I don't think the lighting can make you look wider. You're wider. Great work. Also, seeing your pics in the OP I think your whole chest looks better. Was looking on my phone earlier, easier to see on the computer.

Thanks everyone. Reps where I can spare them. On spread now. I guess it has been a better 8 months than I thought based on your feedback. I've been thinking that my gains have been fairly minimal. Thanks for the reassurance, but I really can't wait to start eating at a surplus again!

I used a week in the Florida sun on vacation lol

Thanks. I did get up to 194 at my heaviest, but I think I did a decent job of avoiding getting too "fat".

Looks like you had an easier time with the heavier weight. lol. Great job! Impressive. BTW, the ʻChristmas Treeʻ appears when you flex your lower back. Some people who train their lower back a lot, have a more pronounced ʻChristmas Treeʻ.
