It's a mixture of things, but specifically our hormones. I swear it's true little girls steal their mom's beauty because during my pregnancy with my daughter I got the dark circles, pores etc.... Also the poster above is right. Certain BC's can cause this through the hormone levels. Also, smoking, drinking etc... all begins to really show in the late 20's. I can't use normal facials cleanses anymore. I'm about to be 30 and just recently I realized, I can only use the professional grade facial cleanses to see a difference.

Perhaps the youtube generation of covering their face with half an inch of make up a day is finally taking its toll.

Maybe the chit diet and alcohol/cigarette consumption?

The higher stress faced from women trying to compete with men in a feminist world?

It´s probably a combination of those, plus a few other factors, like obesity, less healthy food and birth control.

alot of younger females are still learning how to take care of their bodies, so its expected to see more than often acne on their faces.

hormones, improper makeup use and removal, going to bed without clensing, etc etc, bad diets, not exercising, not on dat acv time will ruin you.

No, it's not that people in their 20's or 30's are different, it's how many 20-30+ year olds were you hanging out with 5 years ago? My guess is you were a teenager 5 years ago and so that basically entailed an incredibly small amount of the people you were around.

See a lot here in Texas probably more I've seen in the east coast tbh. Sun damage doesn't help.

Dietary habits do affect people to a certain degree but unfortunately there's a degree of genetics that come into play with adult acne.

I've noticed that the girls who wear the most makeup have the worst skin. The more acne they have, the more makeup they put on. The more makeup they put on, the more acne they get. It's a never-ending cycle, and it's extremely obvious that they have phucking horrible acne even under all of the makeup.

That's my explanation, at least. I'm sure the partying and McDonalds diet don't help.

To be honest I've noticed less ache, but what I have noticed more of is wrinkles and sun spots I have friends in their early 20s that look about the same age as me and I look my age.
