I'm planning on trying a new 1RM in 4 weeks, so I guess I'll be competing. Hoping for somewhere between 555-585, but currently weigh in the 250's which puts me in the 275 class, so o lawd I'll be gettin raped by some of the bigger guys.

IN! I'm new, fat, on the forums to lose weight, and only recently started deadlifting. I have a better chance of making jenna jameson my wife than winning this. But I am totally in just for the motivation of other miscers lifts!
I lifted 325 x 2 yesterday, don't know if that's decent or weak. But maybe I can drop a weight class by July and lift an acceptable number.

I remember from previous comps, there's always some 5'2" dude who comes in and deadlifts like 550+ in the 145lb range

The heavier weight classes seemed less competitive though. IIRC a lot of the 165/181 maxes were more than what the 200+ guys were lifting
