There are loads of games where back in the PS 1 & PS 2 days they had multiple titles in a series, all of the games were quality and then we never heard from them again. One of the worst things about modern gaming is the death of the middle tier of game developers, who made a lot of these titles and I hope that one day we can see some sequels and continuations to these games. Here's a few of my favourites, what are some of yours?
Legacy of Kain: The entire series was great, about a vampire called Kain and another called Rahziel they were a bit like a mix between Zelda, Castlevania and Devil May Cry. Made from PS 1 all the way through to the Original Xbox. Can't believe Soul Reaver was a PS 1 game.
Onimusha: Sort of a mix between Resident Evil and Devil May Cry, amazing graphics, and I used to love these games. I'm actually surprised we never got a HD Collection, though that could be because of royalties to the famous actors whose faces they used. Would be a perfect showcase for a PS 4 exclusive.
Shadowman: You basically play a gun-toting voodoo guy in a modern day world. It was third person shooting with puzzles. Sort of ahead of its time and was a bit too ambitious. Imagine how good a game like this could be nowadays?
It actually sort of saddens me that we live in a world where Game of War makes $1 million a day but games like these are no longer financially viable. What are some other games that you think need more sequels? Can be from any era, not just PS 1/2.

I keep hoping that Sony Bend Studios upcoming release is going to be revealed as a Syphon Filter reboot/continuation. The PSP games were decent despite the PSP having terrible controls and Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a pretty fun game.
Syphon Filter 1-3 on the PS 1 were great, used to play multi-player with my little sister all the time when I was like 13-14.
You guys all have great taste, literally like every game you've posted.
Also thought of Condemned, Vagrant Story & Rogue Galaxy.
Sort of makes me wish games would step back from pushing graphics and budgets and just focus on making a high quantity of enjoyable games like the PS 1/2 days but just make them HD now. Can't be that expensive.
