    I think I can take the WR squat no matter what it's set at when the time comes if I can stay injury free.
    Near future goals: 2200 total, 600 bench

    No man I can hold anything. I did strongman for 2 years before I got serious with powerlifting and I praise it for helping my grip.

    I'm just not a good deadlifter. Never have been and probably never will be. All the accessories I do are geared towards my deadlift. I literally do NO accessories for my squat. I have to bust my ass harder than I do on any lift just to get it to where it is. And still for every 50 pounds my squat goes up my deadlift might go up 10 if I'm lucky.

    Once upon a time I squatted 650 and deadlifted 655 in the same meet. And you can see now my squats gone up 250 pounds and my deadlift has went up 35 pounds lol.


    At least I'm not rob wilk! He has it worse than I do. 1000 pound kind of squat with a 600 deadlift

    Lmao dude I love your comebacks to the trollers. Definitely not the deepest squats I have seen, but that's almost twice the amount of weight I've ever had on my body, and probably four times the amount of weight on the back of the guys who were trolling you maybe more. I almost passed out just trying to do a 455 lb front squat hold. Can't imagine 900.

    Knee surgery.
    I figured training for powerlifting with very controlled predictable movements would put me at less risk for re-injuring it VS the wild, unpredictable, jerking, walking movements of strongman.

    Same reason I only use a mono now to squat. I refuse to walk anything over 600 pounds out.

    respect to you for this attitude. a lot of people are more naturally gifted/predisposed to a certain lift and they'll almost completely neglect what doesn't come easy for them. great lift btw.
