im no expert but Ill tell you my benefits from personal experience (you know not some random article I half ass read over the net)

-horney as fuk (my fav)
- energy through the roof (better workouts)
- vascularity galore
-lower carbs means less bloat on me
-gaining muscle on ~maintanence calories (maybe a bit over)


when I ate shtty fats.
- taking a chit was a chore
- brb pimples
- brb softer than elton @ the playboy mansion
- lethargic
- no gains anywhere near maintenace
Ive also upped my fats recently so Im sure that plays a role but its not like I never went high fat on chicken wings n sht too

Can I ask how old you are? i feel like age may play a factor if you have a problem getting hard. I've seen literally no difference between good vs bad fats. Everything you've stated sounds like broscience to me. I'm eating 400 calories UNDER maintenance on chitty fats and I'm doing great. looking better every week.

Edit: also did body comp tests and I'm gaining roughly .9 to .6 lbs of muscle while losing 3-4 lbs of fat a month. Kept this up for 3 months now

Says if the pain is still there in 3-4 weeks come back
Well i said the same thing but injuries suck and can happen to anyone.. Ive been lifting but just cant so chest/shoulders.

Idk i might just have to continue without those 2 and hope the pain is gone asap

I wouldn't do arms without working shoulders as well. When I had my own shoulder injury, I couldn't do anything but legs, but who does legs lol. Try PT? i rlly feel for u, having to taking months off frm the gym

Just had my first chest/shoulder workout in like 5months

Did light flat bench with just a bar and up to 65lbs.. Still got lil bit pain

Side raises are fine
But db shoulder press is in pain even with 15lbs..

Fuk so pissed... some ppl say just lift and will get better?? Am i risking this chit and could just make it worse?? Shoulder injury could take up to one year to heal.. And im like at 5 moths...

Are you just going to a family doctor? It's expensive but you probably need to get some physio/ talk to a dr to specializes in sports injuries. I know were a part of the chit tier Canadian health care system so you'll probably have to look into specialists in London. UWO probably has a bunch of physiotherapy students looking for people to practice on.

26 brah...it had nothing to do with age (i dont think because as soon as I upped my fats I was getting dem 16yr old bonrars)

I did up my fats though...eating less carbs but upped fats to ~90g


again I got no bases on this other than its what works best for me

Yes i did go to UWO fowler physio.. Theyre the best in london

That helped alot..
Gave me the rubber too or whatever they call it.

Havent done it in the last 3 weeks tho.. Think it would be a good idea to get back on it. Only pain i get is when i try to do db press. No pain if im doing side raises. Even tho i had that problem before.
