I guess I'm in the minority for really not liking the b&r bar. It's as stiff as a power bar (stiffer than a TPB) but doesn't have the knurl/feel of a power bar, and the stiffness and zero whip makes it annoying for olympic lifts where you want some whip. Just isn't great for either.

Fit is just a tab bit loose.. Any tighter and they would be tough to get on and off though with the rubber insides. Check out their reviews on the Rogue site and a couple guys have photos of them on a bar. They actually lean slightly without collars on them.. They don't really rattle though as they are completed covered in rubber. I wonder about the longevity of the inside rubber where it meets the sleeves.. They're really nice though. I'm very happy with them. Mostly due to their looks and accuracy.
Yeah. I feel like they kinda messed up the B&R bar with the dual knurl marks. I wish it just had powerlifting marks being that it is 29mm, stiff, and bare steel. I guess to me, 28mm should have oly marks, 28.5mm should have dual, and 29mm should have power knurl marks. The milder knurl is okay with me. It's nice to have a few different knurl depth options when looking at power bars.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

So they lean with the nice side out. If you put the printed side in (against the next weight), they don't lean. Weird. Doesn't bother me as I use collars 90% of the time but I can see how it may be an issue.
Check out the user review photos here that show the lean:

SIDE NOTE: they don't sell a 1lb. pair.. which is Dumb. I bought a .5kg pair (1.1 lbs) to finish out my LBS. set. Just silly on Rogue's part.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

It looks like a handful of guys have the RML-390F. How are you liking it? Any regrets about the purchase? Has anybody purchased flip-down safeties or anything "extra" for it?

I don't think rogue makes flip down safeties for it, only the monster line. you can't get rogue quick adjust straps for the ML either so that would also have to be custom.
I'm telling go for a 30" deep bolt together R3, having an extra inch of room on each side to rerack is very nice and you're going to want to bolt it anyway. I was torn between that and the 390f and very glad I went 30" R3 for the extra outside clearance.435/259/551 S/B/D @ 197

Guys with a Rogue barbell, specifically the Ohio bar, do Ivanko plates fit fine? I know this questioned has been asked before but the Rogue rep I contacted would only guarantee Rogue plates to fit their bars.
Just want to double check as that last thing I want to end up with is weights that don't fit on my bar. Thanks

i have a rogue westside power bar, and the eleiko PL discs fit great. Going to get the 20kg ohio power bar as soon as it comes out, and will test on those.

No regrets... it is exactly what I need. They don't make flip-down safeties for it, but the pin/pipe is working fine for me. As for extras I have the Matador, two bar holders mounted on the back and a 2nd set of J-hooks. I also have the safety spotter arms (which I had from before I converted this rack from their SML-2) that I use on the front of the rack as a 2nd "station".

LOVE my RML-390F. Coming from a standard R3, I have no regrets about the "upgrade". (Nothing wrong with the R3 though, just can't bolt down at the new home we just bought). The 30" depth is perfect in my opinion. 24" is fine (R3) but 30" just feels ideal to me. Stability is not an issue, but I'm mostly lifting in the 200-300lb range so some guys may want more stability when racking heavy squats.
ML Accessories:
-I bought the ML 30" strap safeties from Rogue and they are fine. High quality and can handle way more load than any human can lift. Sure they're not "quick release" like the monster line, but it's really not that big of a deal IMO. They definitely fixed some issues that were present on the R3 strap safety design, so that was nice to see. It just feels nice when you have to bail on a squat to hit the straps instead of the harshness of a pin/pipe safety.
-I plan on getting some flip-down safeties made custom at some point.. they're just low on my priority list. So dumb that Rogue doesn't make them, but not really an issue since a couple sources here make them even nicer than Rogue would anyway.
-I bought the 3" pull-up spheres too and they are pretty sweet. No complaints at all.
-I upgraded to the Sandwich J-cups. They look a little funny (3" backing plate with thinner welded on J-hook), but they are super functional, giving you more space to rack your bar.
-The Matador is legit. Get one.
-I bought the Spud Inc. Econo Lat Pulley when I got the rack. It's now on Craigslist. I wasn't a fan. Length of cables was great for pull-down stuff.. not so great for push-down movements. Pretty squeaky too, even after adding some oil/lube. I know many guys love it though.Equipment Crew #68, Ivanko Crew #47, Rogue Barbell Club #7, Mech6 Crew #30

I'm glad to hear that you like the straps as I've been hesitant to put them on my wish-list since they aren't the quick release ones. I wrote to them and they don't make quick-release for monster light because the pins wouldn't be thick enough. Where did you mount your 3" spheres? I've looked at those, but my rack is against a wall so I'm not sure how well they'd work on the back cross-bar (looks like feet/knees might hit wall if I start swaying?). It looks like I could mount them on a side bar but I'm not sure about lateral stability since I'm not storing weights on mine.

I put the spheres on the back cross bar. I keep a little room behind the rack, though, to have a spotter for bench press. I would think you could put them on the side without issue unless you really start swinging.. I've done pull-ups on that side bar just to challenge my grip. Stability seemed fine. I did get the thin & thick pull-up bar for the front.. that probably helps some with stability.
