This is contrary to what we saw in the US where Black women were 3 times more likely to contact a Black man.

Additionally, Black men are 16% more likely to contact a non-Black woman than a Black woman.

Asian and Latina women are the only female groups to prefer their same ethnicity.

It’s apparent that online daters in the UK prefer to date outside of their own ethnicity. This trend is also true for the United States — across the pond, U.S. daters most preferred Asian women, except for Asian men. Talk about shocking

These stats need to be clarified further. Does 'contact' simply mean responding to a message or can it mean actually meeting with said person? The difference between them could drastically effect the results claimed.

If the Asian part is true, I guess that just means more Asian women for me. Hehe ty men.

it doesn't say that indian men are the most preferred race, it says that indian men are the ones most often chosen solely on the basis of their race

probably because white women do not have the same prejudices towards dating men of other races as indian women might do

indian women probably feel there is a social stigma attached to them dating a non-indian man and so choose an indian man because he is indian

you could have 100 white men and 100 indian men on an online dating site and 100 women viewing the website

90 white men and 10 indian men could be chosen

if you asked the women who chose them if race was a major consideration - the women who chose the white men may say yes 5% of the time, the women who chose the indian men might say yes 20% of the time

it doesn't mean that indian men are chosen four times as often as white men
