i fear this may be a stupid question before i ask it, but any ideas on how/where to start coming in to winter? i don't have a clue about fashion and feel a bit out of place with most of the conversation itt. was planning on shopping quite a bit but dont feel i quite have the knowledge to spend wisely just yet

just take your time. every time you fold, pull it super tight and against itself. Ironing over the folds helps keep em, too.

It was actually a 'Humans of New York' photo. I've outgrown all of my pants and will be on the market for some. Big ass and big quads make it manditory for a tailor I presume.

Chukkas (Clarks Desert boots in beeswax leather are very popular)
Bass Bucks (I don't personally own any, but they're a good option)
Suede wingtips
Leather wintips (AE McAllisters are hnnnng. JCP Staffords are a low-end alternative, but nice for the price)

How often do you plan to wear it and how much are you willing to spend?

I think you should consider charcoal or navy, as they are much more versatile colors.

The most important thing is fit. Get something that fits you perfectly in the shoulders and as good as possible everywhere else. Then have it tailored to fit you perfectly everywhere.

How much you should spend depends on how often you plan to wear it and how long you want it to last. If you're only going to wear it once or twice a year, a $150 suit from JC Penny with $50 of alterations can look very good and last you a long time.

Bought the grey, have worn them for the past few weeks. They were a little tight at first, but now that they're broken in I fukin love them. Ordered two more colors. I suggest trying these on in the store if you haven't.
