I don't think you'll get too drastic of a color change with just a bare burnishing tool. With no die on the belt, I think your edges will be a little darker, but more than anything else, they'll be smoother. The tool is only a couple bucks and you could test it on a scrap piece of leather.

Phew... just hand burnished the entire belt. Wetted the edge, burnished with the wooden handle of my beveler, applied light snoseal (basically bees wax) and then just went to town. It feels much better now and doesn't leave leather dust all over when I put it on/take it off. I threw it in the oven for a minute to let it all set, wiped off excess and am letting it sit all night. I'll throw up pictures tomorrow.

With boots, I prefer a leg opening of 7.5" or greater. Anything less than that and you'll look like Avril Lavigne trying to be a sk8r boy.

Just wanted to thank you brahs for posting ITT. After rocking $6 mossimo jersey knit v necks from Target and the same 3 pair of lucky/kenneth cole jeans every day for work...I was looking for something to get into. Previously just wore your standard Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren, Southern Proper etc...but all those bright colors make me sick these days. I've pulled a ton from here already revamped my Amazon Wish List as well as made a few purchases.

The appeal of Shell Cordovan is that of raw denim in the fact that people like the fact that the shoe molds to their foot. Also Shell Cordovan (horse leather) can take a beating for decades and still look great. Honestly that creasing WILL occur with the shoes when you first wear them with shell cordovan.

The soles look good they were worn in store. I will wait after Christmas. Frankly they were some of the more comfortable shoes I wore outside my loafers which is worth money in itself. My Allen Edmonds are nice but I've noticed they've been giving more discomfort tbh.

I dont like the shoe either and agreed with the price difference, but after learning they were only worn in store I would go for it if you really like them. I like the shoes you posted before these.

He got them for a lot less though, can't recall exactly how much. Thinking like $105.

A brighter blue than the usual dark navy works well for me for weddings. Match that with tan shoes and belts and you are good to go.

The easiest jump would be a tan or blue suit. Tan should be solid and the blue could have some pin-striping on it, but solid is still a great option.

The 541s for me fit perfect, then I washed them. Now they are denim leggings. I go with the 559s.

Srs question. I'm a manlet. Most of the posters in this thread are of average height by U.S standards. Is there any where one could direct me for advice regarding dressing nicely? I tried following this thread, but when I go to the bigger retailers, all of the medium and large shirts are too long for me. Also, unless they're joggers, size 32 (my actualy size) pants don't fit my quads. Is this just manlet problems or am I going to the wrong places?
