For is important of course, but having worn a lot designer clothes for a while now, I can tell you without a doubt that the quality is far superior. It's not just a little. You think your mossimo shirt looks and fits well until you wear a dior shirt and you instantly understand why it costs $350+

I was just like you and didn't understand how people can pay that for normal clothes, but since I've been buying it and wearing it I fully understand now and it's anything but normal or comparable.

I disagree. I agree in the sense that with certain clothing items it is apparent why things are more expensive. It is worth it to splurge on certain things. Basics aren't one of those though. I have $10 tees from H&M and I have expensive tees from Varvatos, Theory, Vince, etc....with basics diminishing returns definitely comes into play very early on and while there may be a certain difference in how soft something feels, is isn't worth an extra $100. Now for shoes, denim, shirts (button up), outerwear, etc yeah it is worth it to spend more. Basics, not so much.

I bought the new OVO x Canada goose jacket in Large for $1300 because they didnt have any small or medium left. I Grabbed the last Large (knowing it's big on me) because I could resell (for a small profit) it if it was TOO big on me. These jackets are going on kijiji for $1600-2000, and I actually put mine up for sale for 1500 because I realized its too big. I really fuarking like this jacket to the point i'll prolly bulk 20 pounds if i decide not to sell it. Money isnt an issue so I dont care about the price tag tho its the most expensive piece of clothing I own (im not big on fashion but I think i dress above average).

is it unwearable? Im thinking I could go for the baggy look?

Out of curiosity what do you do for a living, buying all, or mostly, designer clothes must cost a chit ton of money.

Edit: just saw the post about dropping 3k in one shopping trip... must be nice to be able to do that, I hope to get there someday.

Run my own business consulting/analytics company. Not ceo 10k/day yet, but I do ok. I don't splurge that often either; I go hard a few times a year, that's it.

Meh, not quite. I don't like the new leather jacket trend of trying to look like a 50s Greaser... just doesn't rub me the right way. Guys like Beckham can pull em off because they could pull off a suit made of aluminum foil and cat litter.

Not on me besides my most favorite item, Dior sneakers. The ones on the right. Pics don't do them justice. By far nicest kicks I've ever seen or owned. Took less than 5 seconds to make the decision from when I walked into the door and saw them.

Leather jackets are supposed to fit pretty close to your body, find your regular size and go one size under. The pic you took makes it look like there will be a lot of room between your body and the jacket if its zipped up.

Yeah i took a L size and ill try to wear it with more layers (for the above pic i was only wearing a T) cause i don't think i will go with the jacket out with less than 2 layers underneath it

I'm not a fan of the jean jacket coming back. If I had to wear one, the dark rinse ones don't look THAT bad. Every time I see that really light shade of jean jackets it just reminds me of what kids wore in the 90's, for what little part I remember of it.

My confidence can withstand more than some disagreement on a light wash denim jacket haha no worries meng. Like I said, it was more of an experiment.
