That was in 2002, he was huge but not at his best.

How could he improve so dramatically for the 2003 mr O?It always boggled me.
This would also go for Dorians 1993 transformation.
You'd think these guys are more or less maxed out, so how can they add that much mass in the space of a 9 month bulk?
Ronnie put on like 22 lb of lean muscle between 2002 and 2003 mr Os.The guys back in the 1970s also put on huge amounts of muscle prior to shows, but they didnt cycle year round like Coleman or Yates.
He also improved a lot between 97 and 98 olympias.
ps.Is it just me or did he lose some detail in his quads when he got bigger later on.

It'd be fun if it turned out he deliberately did stuff wrong to give Jay, Levrone etc false hope going into 2003.
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

He was 260 in 99, 248 in 98. None of those have more detail than his 01 AC showing, where he was 250 in absolutely insane condition (imo his best condition).
Anyway, i didn't say who i prefered, I only said 03 ronnie would beat any other ronnie on stage.
When you are 25-35lbs heavier with good proportions, detail and condition still (although not his best, sure) i am sure he would beat any of his other versionsLast edited by Unbiasedfan; 03-28-2015 at 08:21 AM.

In terms of conditioning i think his best were 01 AC and 98 O. He has unbeliavable detail that i just dont see in his 03 version.Maybe the ligthing is different?
In 98 and 01 AC he also had aestheics and no gut, so for me these 2 must be his all time bests.
But 93 was just freaky, Bob Chic said ppl just started laughing lol when he steeped on stage. The surprise was huge , especially after 2 not so great Mr O showings.

Its great that a time machine has not been invented because then we would see 8 versions of Ronnie Colemans fighting for the sandows, that would be so hard to judge but so awesome to see LIGHTS OUT BAYBEEEEH! WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Bad is when you capable of beatin' the baddest.Smarten up? NO! SPARTAN UP!

That was part of it, but for the most part Ronnie also said since he didn't look the way he wanted to look at the 2001 Mr. Olympia and the media fans were debating he if he should of won, him and Chad wanted to replicate the look Ronnie had at the 2001 AC. So, his contest prep in the last two weeks were messed up by dropping too much weight. He weighed 247 lbs at the 2001 AC & 2002 Mr. Olympia and 275 lbs in the 2002 BFTO footage. Imagine losing 28 lbs of lean muscle in 2 weeks? Ronnie could of has easily won the Mr. Olympia way he looked in the pics I posted above.

god damn it he looks so ridiculous here. Hard to imagine anyone could surpass this. Any distention is rebuked by how inhuman he looks. I think aceto is full of **** when he says ramy could surpass ronnie. Someone may get more wins, be more muscular (hard to imagine tho), but idk the way ronnie carried that mass, his conditioning and shape is just amazing.
