Eat 3500 calories a day. No estimating B.S. Weight, calculate, and write everything. Once you do it long enough you get to worry about eyeballing things but right now you need to weight everything.
Once you start eating 3500 calories a day with a minimum of 130 grams of protein get that gym membership
Lift weights 4-6 days a week.
Do this for a month and check your weight. Adjust a few hundred more calories up if you are not gaining weight.

People are gonna tell you to count calories and eat this or that but honestly.... Just fukkin plow down food like it's your job. You are so skinny that if you eat a ton of trash and don't work out at all you will still gain muscle (srs) Just start eating man.

-Download MyFitnessPal
-ACTUALLY USE MYFITNESSPAL EVERY SINGLE DAY AND HIT YOUR GOALS
-Eat your BW in protein and have the rest of your caloric intake come from carbs and fat
-Start working out with ALL your emphasis on building strength
You do that you'll start to look great. That's how I ended up where I'm at now.
BTW, there are NO excuses as to why you can't have the body you want. Any reason you give me or tell yourself is nothing but complete nonsense. I was skinny and weak when I started too. You are capable of looking and feeling incredible about yourself.355 Bench

Easiest way to keep yourself motivated and on track is to take pictures of yourself weekly and weigh yourself often. When you start to get demotivated all you have to do is look back at the pictures you've taken. Seeing your own progress will get you hyped up again. It also sounds like you'll really benefit from the confidence boost that lifting gives you. Good luck!

That's all it really comes down to, to be honest.
There is some truth to the whole "I'm just big boned" line. Although it's more to do with some guys simply having a much larger frame than others; a bigger rib cage, larger clavicles, thicker joints etc.
I suspect you have been 200+ lbs as long as you can remember? And being sub 200 lbs would make you feel tiny?
Because of the fact I have a small frame and was always skinny as phuck before lifting (6'2", 130 lbs), the idea of being 200 lbs sounds HUGE to me.

Your about what I looked like when I started...
I know it sucks because your self image depresses you, I've been there brah and I know how it feels. You will put on the size, its not possible. But I still have those moments when I look in the mirror and see 175 looking back but just gotta shake it off. I'm still not happy with the way I look but that just motivates me to get in the gym everyday and keep my diet the way it is.
A few points:
-Educate yourself and learn as much as possible about fitness and nutrition
-At this point you can do a semi-dirty bulk, eat as much as possible. while lifting obviously
-Don't make excuses for yourself it will just depress you further. If you want to do this commit to it and dont let anything stand in your way. This is not an impossible task my friend. Plenty of people have done bulks before and plenty will continue to do so.
