I have not run King, but I really liked Clear Muscle. Only useful if you're really pushing your training with an overreaching segment (bulk or maintenance) or a cut given that it's a recovery supplement. I did a review with objective quantitative lift numbers comparisons, along with progress photos, so you can draw your own conclusions: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=166786001
Given those two choices and only being able to afford one, I'd probably go Clear Muscle plus soy lecithin granules (for cheaper phosphatidic acid).Olympus Labs Representative

I ran two bottles of Clear Muscle, and the only benefit I felt was that it helped reduce DOMS. I have heard about people stacking it with King and enjoying it.
I'm currently two weeks into Cutler King, and I'm starting to notice a little more muscle fullness, and a sharp increase in my appetite. No real increase in strength, yet.
If you can only run one, I would do Cutler King.

not to denigrate, but how is King that different than a simple bottle of Soy Lecithin that can be purchased for like $5?

FWIW I do love BPI I also don't know much about Cutler brand, in general. I'm just trying to be objective about this one specific product.
I have no problem financially rewarding a company that does the research/marketing for a product and for providing the convenience of a blend and flavoring, etc. I just don't like the occasional instances where companies just take a pre-existing product that is simply not well known and try to hype it as some new new thing and charge considerably more than the product is already selling for under less-known brands or names.
BTW I'm not saying this is necessarily what Cutler has done with King, as it doesn't claim to be Soy Lecithin. But I am sincerely asking if this is all it is. You are obviously under no obligation to answer this.

Agreed...which was nice for squatting 3x a week. I ran this shortly after it came out, so it was either 59.99 or 69.99 a bottle then (can't remember). I ran the same 12 week regimen that they claim the test subjects ran, and didn't even come close to achieving the claimed results.

You can check out this thread - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=164295351 - it's long (111-112 pages I think) but lots of info, and feedback from people who have run both soy lecithin and King (among other PA supplements).

Cost is a big deciding factor for me. That's why I have always run Cutler King with great results.

I cant afford to be any more hungry then I already am.

OP, I think its really dependent on your goals right now. if you are bulking/trying to gain strength I would use king for its anabolic promoting effects
if you are cutting i would use clear muscle for its anti-catabolic effects. I used clear muscle with good success preserving strength and muscle mass on a 700-800 calorie deficit each day, and training 5-6 times a week, just to give you an idea of how it worked for me on a cut

I wasn't expecting the Tampa results. The subjects in the test weren't on any supplements whatsoever beforehand, and I'm assuming there's a point of diminishing returns with supplementation in general. Also I wasn't in that kind of controlled environment. Mainly I was just looking for better results than I would have gotten without Clear Muscle, and considering I actually gained strength on a cut, I took it as a success.
I don't *think* I'm noticing any increased hunger on PhosphaMuscle versus beforehand, but it's hard to tell since I'm also cutting and pretty much hungry all the time. It sounds like most people get increased hunger though.Olympus Labs Representative

I haven't tried clear muscle, but I'm logging king/dry combo and love this stack thus far. In fact cutler king/dry/clear muscle will be an epic stack.

It depends what your goal is. If on a cut go with CM, if on a bulk go with King. CM will help prevent muscle break down while on a cut and cut DOMS big time.

I'm just finishing up a three month run of Clear Muscle this weekend and I've been pretty pleased with the results. I ran it with a 5/3/1 program. Numbers went up pretty good and I put on about 10 pounds (some fat, but 10 pounds is 10 pounds amirite?).

That is a tough one. They are both pretty different types of product. For recovery, CM is great with some added strength benefits. For strength and muscle fullness, PA is great(main component in King). I know you said only one, but both would go awesome together. I'm generally more into strength so I would go with PA if only choosing one.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here cause I've had the opportunity to run Clear Muscle. I haven't run Cutler King tho (yet) so I can't comment on that one.
As for CM, I've used 3 bottle, currently on a 4th, and to make it short and sweet with Clear Muscle you'll find (like VO2 said) a reduction in DOMS which speed up recovery time. In the long run, putting you back under or over the bar quicker between sets. The more stress you put on the muscle, the faster they will grow so getting back to a lift quicker results in greater and constant stress on the muscle you're working. I had also seen a significant increase in strength, breaking a few PR's along the way. My bench had plateau'd for the longest time and now I've pushed past that and continue to do so. My squat was another big improvement, not that I was stuck but I was finally able to hit a single 350lb squat with some serious power.
Also like many said, costs is a little bit of a factor. It's a little on the pricey side for what you get but to me, if you're serious about making progress and you're someone to put in the work and even go the extra mile, you can really get a great benefit from Clear Muscle. BUT you seriously have to really push. If you don't, big waste of money IMO.
You can check my log that I just finished running on the 3 bottles of CM if you wish. You'll see some solid strength progress made with CM or you can just skip to the end and read my final review of the product lol
Overall, if it comes down to price, King would be the way to go but if you can seriously push yourself to it's limits, Clear Muscle will do wonders for you (no hate on King, just haven't tried it. Love BPI!)
Keep us posted on what you decide and your progress!☆☆☆ IG: @canadian.powerlifter ☆☆☆
