I also listen to Metal.
Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band, they got me through hard times in high school. I love their old music, back when it was Metal. Waking the Fallen is my favorite album by them. Unholy Confessions is my favorite song from the album.
In This Moment is another one of my favorite bands. Right now, my favorite song is "Big Bad Wolf".

It varies, i like to listen to rap,rock,metal,electronic, depending on what mood im in or what body part im exercising that day.
my favourite song? It has to be Adam K & Soha - Who Cares Really
When ever i want to get serious for a lift i prefer song with no words, and create a scenario that gets me hyped up.
the beat is slow and passive witch gets me in a rhythm while im repping out weights! makes it perfect to listen to while you work out.*Team Seid*

I might be one of the few people that do not have headphones on while working out. Idk I guess I got so into working out that I don't really need music to keep me going while at the gym. I can easily "turn that switch" and focus on the lifts and my workout when I'm at the gym. I know a lot of people do it so they don't have to listen to other people around them chatter but not even that gets to me because my concentration and motivation to get huge is at a whole nother level.
I do however have a pre workout ritual that I do before I hit the gym. I listen to 3 songs and a speech, in this order.
Weird.... I know. But its a ritual I been doing for 4 years. It works and it never fails me.Army Veteran, OEF.

Used to be metalcore/hardcore but my tastes have shifted to electronic music with peaking melodies and thumping beats

Tell us what type of music gets you going for your workout? I go through phases... for a couple months I HAVE to listen to Rob Bailey and the Hustle standard or similar music, then for a few months Ill switch to a more dubstep/techno/trance/mashup type playlist.

Both are great and have some really solid mixes you can listen to for free.. if you upgrade you get longer tracks, can change the BPM of the song, and some other cool stuff.
