Hey yall, just telling yall gonna start posting again. It's been about a month and a half since I left to do some thinking and work out some personal things. While the situations haven't been resolved, things have gotten a little better. I was having a pretty tough time as some of yall I'm closer to know. Gains have been going well. I forgot to update yall on my bench press comp but I did win the teen division with 215lbs at 164bw which wasn't my best. Right now I'm 172ish if I'm at my heaviest and 167 at lowest. still around 9-11% bodyfat. Still lean bulking and I will be competing in April 2016. Lifts have gotten stronger too. Bench is around 230 right now, squat 315ish, deadlift has dropped a bit but I can still pull ~405. Training is really the best thing going for me right now and it's been one of the main things that's gotten me out of bed. I'm happy to be back though.



Me and my brother after the bench press comp in early February. I'm on the left. I won a two month supply multi vitamin pack, a 20$ gift award to complex nutrition, a medal, and a t shirt. Obviously a 215 bench is nothing to brag about but I was excited to win.



This is just a physique pic I took the other day. Biceps are still a weak point, traps and chest are my strongest points right now.

Genuine question. I've never been to any sort of weightlifting competition, it just seems like for a competition, that's pretty low. I wasn't disparaging his bench, I just thought that at a competition, even at his weight class, the bench numbers would be higher.

Man people at my highschool were FREAKS.. at 16 one of my best buds was 6''2 215 and like 18 % BF benching like 315 , 225 incline for 8 reps. 2nd place was 275 lbs , We had a girl benching 225 x 1 who was grade 11 . Meanwhile I was impressed with my 135 x 12 with improper form lmao

Yea, that's why I was asking. If a kid is going to enter a competition, they aren't going to be your average high school scrawnys. I know a dude that weighed 190 and benched 315 for sets of 8.

Legitemately never understood how at 16 you could be that strong. My genetics aren't the best but definitely not shetty and In 3 years I've got my bench up to 225 x 5 t'ill 90 degrees ( not touching chest) plus im 5''8 so it wouldn't count in a competition. Im 19

well if you get on stage you probably want to be 5%. going from 9 to 5 would set you back like 6-7% actual bodyweight.

weighing 215 benching 315 seems about right to me. Definitely impressive, but not freakish.
