Honestly guys. The video someone got off my Instagram was at the very end of working sets. And also a part of hypertrophy training. Just because I said I hit 315 doesn't mean it was based off of that one video. I'll be sure To repost a video of the 315 I hit. It wasn't recorded when I did hit it because my phone died. I will post one Monday, hopefully proving myself to whoever doubts. But anyways, have a good one misc. See ya Monday.

I don't get this logic.
If a slingshot is helping me move more weight, thus training my CNS to be more comfortable under what I can handle without a slingshot, how is that not beneficial?
IMO everything about the slingshot is going to help you improve your bench and you deff don't have to be an advanced lifter to take advantage of the slingshot as a training tool.**MISC STRENGTH CREW**

If OP posts a video of himself doing a clean rep of over 315 as he's saying, no slingshot, no spotter, ass on bench the whole time, full lockout, by Friday, I will eat a nugget of my own poop, film it, and post it on Misc.

Because it doesn't assist you evenly throughout the lift. Slingshots help you out of the bottom of the press (coming off the chest). However, the chest dominate part of the movement is usually most people's weakest point (which is why people half rep to ego lift), it's probably not going to help your bench much to overload on the tricep dominate side of the lift (lockout).
It makes the exercise closer to a board or spoto press, which is why it's useful for equipped lifters, but less so for raw lifters who don't have tricep weakness to address.Makes eye contact with the webcam when jacking it, just in case
