stomach/abdominal pain after doing chin ups

I have just started doing chin ups, however after 2 sets of 6 reps earlier today i felt a flushing and burning sensation in my abs/stomach area.

the pain lasted for about 5 minutes and eased after drinking some water.

has this happend to anyone before??

Was it pain or DOMS? I know that when I first starting doing chinups my core/abs got worked real hard and were sore the following days as if I worked my abs seperately.
