Is there any place to avoid? Or a place that I should definitely see? Not sure how much I'll need. Including flight (2K) I think it'll probably cost me 5k total. Hopefully that will last me 2 weeks.
Going to be so lost. I wonder if I should go in with a plan and placed booked before hand or just YOLO it out.Not gonna make it crew
Hope to be dead b4 60 crew.
No marriage crew (at least with western girls)

To avoid? Not really.... I'm sure that there are probably places where the mafia/yakuza hang out but I have no idea where that part of town is and I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't just wander in to there lol. The 2 main entertainment districts are Kabuchiko and Roppongi. Kabuchiko is cheaper and a little more sketchy (mostly locals too)... while Roppongi is pricier but attracts more of a mix of people. Kabuchiko can also be annoying since there are african dudes everywhere, trying to get you to come see their club. Some can be quite annoying.
5k should be more than enough for 2 weeks unless you really live it up IMO.
Do yourself a favour and start studying a map of the subway system now. It'll help a lot. Also, get a hold of a guide book that outlines all of the districts and what there is to see in each spot.
Some stuff that was on my list....
- Tsukiji Fish Market (VERY tough to get tickets for the early morning auctions but you can go pretty much any time during the day to check it out). If you like Sushi, this is the place to be. Tons of sushi places around here.
- Yoyogi Park (Meiji Jingu shrine is in the park too). Gorgeous park with paths and forests all through it.
- Roppongi Hills urban centre (the observatory from the Mori Tower is one of the best views around. World Trade Center is another great view).
- Nakasime Shopping Street and Shinshoji Temple
- Tokyo Tower and/or Tokyo Skytree
- Sengakuji Temple (if you're interested in seeing the graves of the 47 Ronin).
- Edo Castle/Imperial Palace
- Golden Gai
- Tokyo Intl' Forum
- Odaiba (man made island over the Rainbow Bridge... didn't make it here myself but that's where the giant Gundam statue is)
- Kamakura if you feel like a day trip (about 1 hr train ride away)
That's off the top of my head.

Yep. If I had a mobile job that I could do there. In a heartbeat.
Ha. I can tell you that I spent about $100/night for my hotel (which was pretty damn small lol but in a decent location... Shinjuku). Then spent $10/day for my metropass (You may be able to get a week pass from Tokyo or Shinjuku stations for cheaper) then another $30-40/day for food. Then maybe another $50ish/day for incidentals?
Yep. I'll post some more in a sec.
Not that I saw.
Not that I saw.
Giant Gundam model in Odaiba... that count?

No prob! I also forgot...
- Shibuya Crossing (possibly the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world)
- Harajuku area (just outside of Yoyogi Park) is where you'll see all the freak fashions that young people wear.
- Shinjuku Gyoen (best garden other than Yoyogi Park IMO).
- Robot Restaurant in Kabuchiko (this is so crazy lol.... look it up and DO IT).
