Different dentist are always trying to refer me their ortho so I can get my 4 perfectly fine ones removed. I tell them to fuk off each time. The 2nd I have an issue I'll come in and you can yank all 4 at once and rape me and my insurance.
Just had a crown done. BRB paying $700 out of pocket after insurance.
BRB go to the dentist and I swear to fukin god they try their hardest to break my previous work. The way they pry on my crowns/fillings pisses me off and I usually let them know I don't think it's necessary to break my previous work so you guys can do it over again.

Whether they're doing scams or not is one debate.
The fact that dentists are paid well is because you don't want just any clown operating on you, key word OPERATING.
Yeah he might touch your weewee when he puts you under but ultimately you wake up alive after someone cut you open and fixed your ****.

i have a lot of captivities, i just try away from sweets now so it doesn't hurt me
the only reason i stayed away is the costs.. I had a root canal done and I was raped so hard, but i had to cause the pain was unbearable.*** Free Thinker Crew ***

I would go if the first thing they did wasn't scraping my teeth and gums with a metal hook
"Hmm there's some bleeding, looks like you have some sensitivity issues"
yeah dumb**** i could have told you jabbing them with a needle would make them bleed.
You are better off going to an orthodontist to have them look at teeth, and then have them recommend you to a dentist with a writeup of what you need done.
Having a dentist recommend what sugeries you need done is like the receptionist at the orthopedic office giving you suggestions.

I didn't go to the dentist for like 10 years. When I went back my teeth were fine. He tells me to get my wisdom teeth removed every visit when I already saw a surgeon and he told me I could wait until it hurts.

My dad is a dentist...it's a shiddy career. He offered me his practice and I said nope!
They really don't make that much money. The patients expect a spa like atmosphere these days and by the time you provide that, pay insurance, the lab and employees there isn't much left over.
All of the good dentists are broke because they don't treat people like cattle and scam. The only people that make money are mcfranchise dentist that don't give a fug about you.

1) Not sure why you are blaming dentists for dental insurance. Most dentists will hate on insurances just as much as the patients. It's a situation where the only party that wins is the insurance.
2) Not sure why you are blaming dentists for their prices. Do you know how expensive it is to run a dental practice? My clinical supplies alone (just the stuff you use in your mouth) cost me $1200/week and that's my cheapest expense. Then take into account rent, utilities, business running costs, 4 bajillion types of insurance, employee salaries, upkeep of computers and digital equipment, the inflated educational cost these days of being able to provide you with proper dental care, and you get the picture.
Haters gonna hate though, most dentists grow pretty thick skin within a few years of practice lol

Yeah about the wisdom teeth part - I didn't feel any problems with mine. They said that the way they were growing in there was a possibility that my teeth could push together and jut out (like become uneven.. can't remember wording).
After they took them out I had more problems than before. Idk if it's any correlation, but I had like blisters or something appear on my uvula, lost my voice for the first 3 weeks of college (try making friends when you struggle to talk lololol), was lethargic, appetite went down the drain, etc. Some days where the wisdom teeth were it hurts and I have no fukkin idea why.PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.
