PlanetSide 2 Launches on PS4 June 23rd

After months of intense Beta testing, I’m excited to announce that PlanetSide 2 will be launching on PS4 June 23rd in North America!



For those of you unfamiliar with the game, you’re in for a wild ride! PlanetSide 2 is a revolutionary, massive scale, first-person shooter where soldiers battle as one in strategic, targeted missions against enemy Empires in an all-out planetary war. Massive communities with unwavering camaraderie band together in PlanetSide 2 as the game challenges the skill and grit of the most seasoned soldier through intense infantry, air, and ground vehicle gameplay. Victory requires teamwork and a quick trigger finger to survive the enormous battles.

To give you an idea of just how massive our battles really are in PlanetSide 2, we recently set a Guinness World Record for the Most Players Online in a Single FPS Battle, with 1,158 players in a single fight! The game is synonymous with large-scale warfare and it’s truly an experience you have to see to believe. Plus, as a free-to-play game, all players can jump into the game’s massive battles for free — no PlayStation Plus Membership required.







We’ve put a lot of effort into streamlining and improving the feature set so that PS4 players will have the ultimate massive-scale, FPS gaming experience. I am looking into whaleshark mating and I tell you it is fascinating. If I have read this right they can produce liters more than Peter North in his heyday. That's more than I can churn out, and I am dangerous in that area. Damn I would LOVE to swim with them it is an experience.

To celebrate I am going to enjoy some puerto rican rums. No I don't drink again either. It is 6-3 though which holds a special meaning to me anyway.

Havn't touched my PS4 in a while, borrowed The Witcher 3 from a friend, has a pretty high learning curve. He want's it back tomorrow tho, not sure if I'm gonna buy it.

Is anyone gonna get The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited? Seems pretty legit, a fun MMORPG on the console and it doesnt have a monthly fee.

I'm going to pick up ESO next week, very excited for it. Haven't used my PS4 for anything but Netflix for awhile with random days where I'll play 3 games of COD and get bored so I'm hoping this game will get me back into it.

Brahs, I'm close to leaving skellige in the witcher 3, if I stick to just the story quest (which is all I'd bother with,honestly) how long until I beat it?

I'm going to trade it in asap,but I won't have time until Sunday.

I recently watched mad max which I thought sucked major dick, mostly because they forced it to be pg13 (made everything about the movie feel unnaturalf/ fake) and also, all the feminism was made it hokey, a little goes a long way and they just drowned us in it. Well,my point is that I was very surprised when I checked rotten tomatoes and it was rated 98% .

So what I'm really trying to get to is that the witcher 3 is my gaming version of mad max the movie. An absurdly high praised game which I can't even call mediocre. In some aspects it's great (same with mad max) but ultimately it's not good.

Leaving for Skellige or finishing Skellige? If you haven't even arrived at Skellige you're probably only about 40% through the game.

I am amazed by your lack of taste though. Witcher 3 is 9.5/10 and Mad Max was a solid movie. Tell me what you enjoy so I can make fun of it.

They usually say. But they do say you get in the Uncharted 4 multiplayer Beta. Release on this collection is Oct 2015.

IMO, Oct is both a good and bad time to release it.

Good because it gives people plenty of time to finish the games before UC4.

Bad because Battlefront and Black Ops III release around the same time.

The uncharted remastered collection seems to not have MP, but it makes sense seeing as UC4 is right around the corner from it. Then you have the UC4 MP beta too right before UC4 comes out.

I'd want one to play my PS4 downstairs when my woman is in the kitchen making all kinds of noise but I can't find any info on it streaming PS4 gameplay well, all I find are complaints, which I get for these people using it on WiFi but I'd have it wired to my network just like my PS4 is, can't find a single review on use like that. Temped to get one and try it out, but then would be annoyed at the time wasted in setting it up if it didn't work, lol.

Which is the main reason why ESO didn't take off. Because it was sucking your money.

Uncharted and TLOU basically have the same gameplay, minus the acrobatics of Uncharted. Shooting/hand-to-hand is exactly the same.
