If the flat earth theory were true, you wouldn't be able to get to the edge. It would get progressively more difficult the closer you came to the edge, until you couldn't get any further. Then you'd fall back to the center.

a plane flying north to south flies the same speed and distance as a plane flying east to west and vice versa...this can ONLY happen if the earth is not moving.

You can fly west to China, or you could fly east through Europe, travel there for a bit, and then move further east and STILL end up in China.

If the Earth was flat, it would be impossible to fly two opposite directions and end up in the same location.

the earth is stationary. if the earth was spinning at 1000 mph then felix baumgartner should have landed 168 miles from his launch site. and thats not taking into account the time it took that balloon to get to that altitude.
