One thing about both Evan and Cedrick that has kept fans interested is that we all think there is so much potential for each of them.
Not to disrespect either, but each has seemed to bring about the same quality package to the stage time after time, without much sign of improvement. Their placing have reflected this as well.
I think Im ready to accept them as a solid Tier II pro and not expect anything more from either.

I thought Evan did a good job holding is own, but I do agree that he will likely never win the O or the Arnold. You just never know though....

Evan has some biomechanical problems due to his glutes being inhibited (not firing)...it can be seen through his poor soleus and lat development and squat form...these muscles simply aren't activating...I'd recommend he get these problems fixed asap and then his physique will start to fill in in key areas.
Cedric has no calves and needs better conditioning.

LMAO. No and no.
Evan had great conditioning at the 2015 AC and he placed 5th, so what the hell are you talking about?
Dexter Jackson was the deserving winner of the 2015 AC. Argue otherwise and you're just kidding yourself. I'm not a Dexter fan at all and even I can accept that he was the most complete, most symmetrical, most shredded, most polished bodybuilder on the stage.
You can argue for Ced placing above Compton (I think it was very close between those two), but anything beyond that is sheer nonsense.Last edited by WizardsOfAus; 03-10-2015 at 11:32 PM.

With Ced`s age and occupation he`s going to have trouble ever making it in the top 6 at an Olympia. Right now we have 1) Phil 2) Kai 3) Wolf 4) Rhoden 5) Ramy 6) Dexter 7) Compton 8) ** Branch all ahead of Ced and this is with Ced bringing the best we`ve seen of him in a while.
He either loses size & fullness to come in lean ( especially in the legs )
Or he isn`t lean enough and it looks worse then it really is because like Kai, Ced`s abs come in last. Many times Ced will bring nice hams and glutes with a washed out midsection.
You can`t be 6"2 and barely outsize or get outsized by guys at 5"6 and 5"7, it`s a bad look. Had a top form Wolf been in the line up he would have made Ced look small even more than Compton was outsizing him.
The (crazy) Ced hype is over & it was over before thislast show, He isn`t going to swoop in and win an Olympia at this point, even if he came in huge with last saturdays conditioning at a Olympia, he wouldn`t be given 1st place, he make the top 6 and then he`d have to repeat again or be even better for the next Olympia to even have a chance at 1st place.
I love his physique but I just don`t see it happening.
With all that said, he makes every show more exciting.Last edited by Nep2une; 03-10-2015 at 10:44 PM.

Evan doesn`t have the structure ( legs, waist size, long torso ) to win an Olympia in my opinion. If he does the Olympia this year he will have trouble even making the top 10. 1) Phil 2)Kai 3) Wolf 4) Rhoden 5) Dex 6) Ramy 7)**Branch 8) Compton 9) Ced from here we have Victor, Morel, Roelly, Curry, *Beyeke, for him to battle with.
( The 1-9 placings aren`t necessarily in any particular order)

I disagree with your opinion,
1) He had the worst conditioning of the top 4
2) His leg size was noticeably down and his posing made his legs look even smaller
3)He won both back poses and that`s it.
4) He was barely outsizing Dexter who is about 8 or 9 inches shorter and he was outsized by Compton who is about 8 inches shorter and outconditioned by both.....You can`t win in those circumstances.
People can argue Ced`s structure all they want and in the case of Branch Warren rightfully so, but Dex and Compton have extremely excellent structures also.

I actually don't think Evan has as much potential as people like to say..
His torso is not that pleasing, so his front double bi isn't so good. His muscle separation isn't very good either, and that isn't a body fat issue. His muscles don't have that pop. Basically the way his torso is and lack of separation, I don't see those things improving, and it wouldn't be hallmark of a Mr. Olympia.

I wasnt talking about conditioning actually, I was referring to both of their legs. Both are considered undersized for their frames as far as their legs and I have always attributed crazy leg development to heavy supplement use. Not really sure if there is any real correlation but both are suspected to be against certain things and both have "undersized" legs. Just my thoughts.
Legs that we see today didn't exist back when certain things weren't being used. Thats all.4% shredded with striated!

He works a more desk orientated job in the army now.
The only thing holding Ced back imo is leg mass and overall thickness.
Not that he hasn't got those things in spades already, just not enough of them to challenge for the title anytime soon.
As for his age...well Dex is showing us just how irrelevant that can be with certain bodybuilders.
Regardless of any of that I'm in agreement with everyone else, phenomenal bodybuilder and a real breath of fresh air compared to what we get these days, both in physique and attitude.I Discovered A Meal Between Breakfast And Brunch

If Lionel Beyeke can nail it once, so can anyone. if Cedric can nail it once maybe he'll win something big.
