Just learned how to driver stick yesterday in my dads 5.0. Only stalled it out the first 5 tries lol.

ITT OP is in highschool where people are still learning to drive cars and even care what transmission they are driving.
Used to be that guy who knew manual and would make fun of friends that can't drive it. But nobody gives two fawks after highschool OP. You drive auto? good for you. You drive manual? Good for you too.
Sucks going out to bars and nobody can drive your car for you cause its manual. But when a friend is drunk and nobody can drive manual except you? You feel like a goddamn hero.
These days I want an luxury automatic car just so I can drive around leisurely. Example I'd rather have an automatic Lexus IS 250 more than a manual Lancer Evo.
Either way, just learn manual from a friend, usually they are willing to teach or excited to teach someone something because they think they are good at it.
Had a friend who would always talk about manual driving, but when it came to him on a hill, he would pull the e-brake then rev the engine and removed clutch then removed e-brake. Some people suck, but practice makes perfect. Go for it OP, I've taught 4 people and I've learned that people are always eager to learn how to drive manual.-Will always answer 100% honest in headphone threads. (Head-fi brah checkin in)

Shoot some quick tips for me, brah? Literally have less than an hour of actually using my left foot driving, so just trying to take it all in. No burnt clutch smell, so I was happy. Biggest thing is I come up off the clutch good and slow, then real fast for whatever reason. Can't feel where it's grabbing yet (Dad's '14 Mustant GT, 6sp).
