I solved the Work/Lifting problem. I'm retiring on June 19th.

Thanks, mate. I'm just glad no one asked, "Tom, what do you think?" because I really wouldn't have known what to say other than, "One more rep!"
Practice, practice, practice.
Plus my goblet squat is the only one that gets that low.
Thanks...still not as much as I wanted. I was going to go for DL triples, too, but my rhythm was just blown out.
Congratulations, Joel! That's awesome news.
What are you going to do to keep busy?
Thanks. It felt good to carry on, even if it wasn't as focused as I'd have liked."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

Thanks, brother.
Car...car-dee...?
Thanks, Ron.
Funny thing. I didn't now I was going that low until I looked at the video. Those might have been my best squats ever.
Like I said before, I wish I had the level of strength that I have the level of flexibility in."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

Bench Press
1x1x75
1x1x95
1x1x115
1x1x135
1x1x155
1x1x185 - About what I expected in the ratio from the Smith machine transferred over to free barbell lifts.
3x5x155
Pendlay Row
3x5x125
Light Squat Day
3x5x185 - Played with bar placement, went deep and slow to try to figure out my form again. The Smith really messed me up as far as my form goes. Had some pain in the soft tissue around my hips. I think it's just one of those things I have to get used to and will work itself out.
Later, that same day...
Dumbbell Incline Bench Press/Incline Chest-supported Row Supersets
1x2x65
1x5x55
1x5x50
3x5x45 - Slow and paused
Cable Crossover
3x8x20
Nautilus Nitro Lat Pulldown
3x8x100
It's so nice to be back into the rack and free weights again."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

Thanks and welcome aboard.
Have a great back workout!
I can't imagine how hard it would be to try to use a barbell if all I'd ever used was a Smith.
It was 34. Not too bad, but the bar was still cold enough that I had to cup my hands around a light bulb between sets.
I was really hoping to get another rep with the 65s. I almost got past the halfway point, but I couldn't quite push through."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

Missed this yesterday Tom. Helluva workout! Strong benching for just coming off a winter on the smith. Looks like a good weight to get your squats dialed in again. I used to squat (terrible and high) on the smith thinking I was all strong with 3pps....then I tried real squats....humbling experience to say the least lol.
Hit a ton of volume as well, you have been killing it lately. Good things to come now that you are back in the rack

Skwot
1x2x135
1x1x185
1x1x205
3x5x225 - More messing with bar placement and foot placement. I think I finally got in the right position for me in the third set. That one felt right.
Press
1x1x65
1x1x95
1x1x125
1x5x115
1x5x105
3x5x95 - Weak as hell today.
SLDL
3x3x205
Pendlay
5x5x115
Later...that same day...
Incline Hammer Curl/Dumbbell Triceps Press Supersets
5x5x25
EZ Curl Concentration Curls/French Press Supersets
5x5x45
Short Bar Curl/Triceps Rope Pushdown Supersets
3x5x40/3x5x30
KB Cleans
2x5x16 kg
Today's training was overall weak. I think the lack of sleep, lack of food, and lack of focus (maybe also from the lack of sleep and food) all played into it."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
Also, taxation is theft.

Nice way to get it done Marius. Incline curls are tough! Back when I was doing DB curls, I was always amazed at how much tougher sitting on an incline bench and doing incline curls vs standing DB curls were.
Hopefully you sleep better tonight. Lack of food, I am well familiar with that as well and feel your pain there .
Keep crushing it man.

Thanks, Shawn. I guess we'll see what happens when that form is actually grooved. Had a weird pinchy feeling in my hip in the second set that warned me I didn't have my hips moving right. Third set fixed that. Maybe next week I'll get the pattern throughout all my sets.
It helps to remember where I came from. I'm actually grateful that I'm starting back where I am and not that I have to come back from zero after some kind of a deadly illness or something."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

Nice session even though you say you weren't feeling it. Pretty good volume on the squats for sure, and the OHP is a silly exercise... I'm not even sure why any of us do them.
Don't listen to me, I'm in terrible shape.
