Large-B cell Lymphoma
Been lifting since i was 14, don't drink, smoke, or do anything that really negatively effects my health status. My life just took a huge turn. I haven't had any real classical symptoms either so none of this was suspected throughout this confusion.
I had neck pain for about a month, and shorty after I had loss of tongue function on the right side that progressively got worse (same side of the neck pain). This forced many ER visits and the discovery of a tumor. The tumor was then biopsy'd and was discovered to be cancerous which made the entire process scarier as it was initially diagnosed to a benign tumor. Thank God the doctor was as great as he was and questioned all the other doctors for what he thought it was.
The endless unknown has been the worst part, but after getting a call getting told it was Lymphoma I had felt much better as there were many things it could have been that would have been way worse. Anyhow I went in for a PET CT scan and they discovered 4-5 spots of cancer meaning it's in a lot locations and it has been in my body for a while now. Oddly enough besides the neck pain and a pulled groin I didn't suspect this. Anyhow, I will be undergoing VERY aggressive treatment that will make my life very ****ty for however long necessary.
I've been a long time miscer since I was a younger teen, and I'm more of a lurker than poster but I've been around forever.
This thread will remind me that I will win and will overcome this. My age and my body puts me ahead of all the other people diagnosed with this awful thing. I will win.

Cancer comes down to genetics and only genetics. Only very few environmental factors will affect it occuring.

Try the keto diet man... I've read studies that a KETO DIET can help eliminate cancer cells.. Cancer lives and feeds off of sugar, eliminate the sugar and you could possibly help with the ridding of it. Look into it please and try it. Also, stay strong and know that we all support you.
