If you drive through a neighborhood, there is one decent home and a very large mansion next to it. The family living in the decent home is financially secure. there isn't going to be a war or real fight because both sides have too much to lose. It wouldn't be productive. The days of the conquesting nation collecting the spoils of war is over.

As far as goods made in china, there isn't anything that is made in China that we don't make or can't get elsewhere. Just the price is higher. It would be a bit of a shake up at first. We got along fine without Chinese imports for a long time. However they wouldn't have gone anywhere if it were not for us companies opening up factories there.
