Yeah and they have one aircraft carrier. One. It goes for little cruises every now and then, pretty sure it's never seen battle. US navy would probably have fun with it before they destroyed it, like a pack of house cats with a mouse. Jk, one of our subs would sink it before they knew what hit them.

Data from 2009, China is growing at a lot faster rate than the US.
By 2030, China's expected GDP will be more than double that of the US.

You could never invade them, and they could never invade us. The only recourse would be Nuclear weaponry which would cause mutually assured destruction which will ostensibly never happen.
Also, our economies are indelibly linked, so it is unreasonable to ever imagine a scenario in which it would be advantageous to pursue direct war with China. If anything, it will be proxy wars like we are having with Russia and Iran right now.

No it's true, china has always been separated - Look at all those civil wars and dynasties, even in WWII there were communist vs. non-communist inside China. The reason that communist party is able to hold that chit now is because the economy is improving and giving out false hopes, and of course strong media brainwash as well.

Talk about being Brainwashed. But who was Great Britain. BRB, been at war much much much longer than the US. BRB, train the US Spec Ops and Forces. BRB, finish fights that America started.
Which nation has the US Conquered and occupied? And don't bother saying that you did it to the USA either.
Just because you start a war doesn't mean that you're good at winning. Look at Germany in WW2. Got their ass handed to them even before the US stepped in to finish off and try and take all the glory.

Who cares about consumption when it's all abut production?
If you drive through a neighborhood, there is one decent home and a very large mansion next to it. The family living in the decent home is financially secure. Their home is paid off and they have a lot of money in the bank. The family in the large home has a lot of consumption spending, but they are heavily indebted. Whose better off?
That said, this analogy does not apply to China because their govt fudges the GDP and has created massive ghost cities to inflate their GDPI wish Hillary would violate me like she violated federal law

You may be right Opie, USA won its number 1 spot after ww2 by doing exactly what the chacons are doing right now, staying away from world affairs. Manufacturing made USA number 1 and China is the words leader in manufacturing, can you imagine what that would mean if China converted all its companies to military manufacturing. **** would get real scary.

I'm talking about the country as a whole, of course the per capita income will not match that of the US anytime soon due to the huge number of population.
But hasn't environmental damage been a problem for almost every country in the world now ? Of course they are doing a lot worse than most there but with if they manage to sustain their growth rates then importing food is not gonna be a problem.
All of the world's large economies are interdependent, but we can't deny that we are specifically more dependent on them than we are on any other country.

Ze-Dong Mao - critics consider him a dictator who severely damaged traditional perpetrated systematic human rights abuses, and who is responsible for an estimated 40 to 70 million deaths through starvation, forced labour and executions, ranking his tenure as the top incidence of democide in human history.
This is covered up by the Chinese themselves. Look at the marker at the bottom of the website for an example :http://www.scaruffi.com/politics/dictat.html
Note: this website has been banned in China and Turkey since 2006. Please help boycott these countries.
Not spied on in China are they not? Chinese people would die for a structure like this US has. The NSA in replacement for their own global monitoring agency would be a godsend to them.
What a laughable post.

The USA was once an industrial nation. We can go back to building our own things and bring our factory jobs back to U.S. soil.
We don't need China. The only people who need China, is the Wal-Mart's of the world, who want a government to commit human right violations so they can acquire cheap labor and undercut the Western world with their cheaper products."Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." - Psalm 23

there isn't going to be a war or real fight because both sides have too much to lose. It wouldn't be productive. The days of the conquesting nation collecting the spoils of war is over.
As far as goods made in china, there isn't anything that is made in China that we don't make or can't get elsewhere. Just the price is higher. It would be a bit of a shake up at first. We got along fine without Chinese imports for a long time. However they wouldn't have gone anywhere if it were not for us companies opening up factories there.
