So, from what I understand, when you consume protein shake (whey for example) after workout, it really spikes up your insulin, and that isn't a good thing so much ( you are free to correct my if I am wrong )
When you eat "real" food, like beef or fish or anything else that contain protein, it also contain fat and other things, that doesn't make the insulin spike up that much
So?
Is it safe to consume protein shake or not? I am Paleo in my diet
Also, I don't want to "bulk up fat", so I prefer eating real food if protein shake is an issue (eating "more" real food, and throw away my protein shake)
Anyway, will love reading your thoughts on the subject please

Unless you're diabetic I would not be concerned. Plus eating Paleo typically tends to be low in carb sources.
