Weightlifting and working out shouldn't be any different when you're over 35 than when you're under 35, or when you're under 25 for that matter. Exercise is a fountain of youth. At 35 and older you should still be at your prime and you should stay in your prime and take it to the grave, whenever that might be.

Things that can and may be different are recovery time and sets, reps and weights used.
You can always do the same things provided no injury but you may more time to recoup from those training sessions.
Keep training though, moving and keeping the strength up as much as possible .
Fight getting weaker.
The minute you give up and stop you start your old age spiral down ward.
