Does anyone have any recommendations for wireless headphones? I love my son's Beats, but I'm hesitant to spend that much money on something I'm going to wear only when sweating. I'd rather go cheaper without sacrificing too much on sound.
Suggestions?

Working to regain strength, muscle, endurance, and lose some blubber. Damn you drinking-wine-on-the-couch. Why are you so good?

I ruined at least 5 pairs of various brands just sweating on them. Blue Ant pump wireless headphones are awesome. They are completely waterproof, you can swim in them, and they sound great and are barely noticeable in my ears. Charge lasts about 2-3 hrs and they recharge in about an hour. They are very noise canceling too with the right inserts (they come with a bunch of different ear cups). Best I've found, use them 10x per week.

They even have some used pairs in warehouse deals if your cool with other people's ear gubers.

Yea I got little ear holes too (reminents of cauliflower ear in one). They come with small medium and large the small fits me well, they also have foam covers that will get very small. I'm using those now becuase I lost several of the small rubber ear things by not storing/carrying them around in a bag or anything.

I just ordered a pair of audio 66. Got good reviews and fairly cheap. They haven't come in yet so can't report on quality. Could not spend 250 plus on something i'll probably ruin in the gym.

Just play the cards you are dealt and STFU.

I'm too ascared to try the wireless kind. They always look bulky on peoples heads. I did just buy my 2nd pair if Klipsch R6's though. Light, comfortable, not made specifically for sports but they hold up great. Plus they rock and cancel stupid people from talking to me in the gym...

Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions. I have some research to do. My biggest concern is for small ears. I definitely want ear buds, not the ones that cover my ears. I get too hot for that!
For those who have the waterproof ones, what is the real advantage? I rarely run in the rain and I don't sweat that much. Is it worth the extra money?Simp's Back: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165133671&page=1

The advantage of teh waterproof headphones is they don't crap out. I sweat alot some days, but even with just frequent repeated exposure to being hot and a little sweaty is going to corrode the electrical components of non-sealed units. They don't cost taht much more. I had some plantronics that were not water proof, and I give the company credit for sending me like 4 replacement sets, but it sucks not having music when the gym plays smooth jazz at 5am .
Going to go rock them for a walk in the cold right now..

Same here. Another technique is to flip the things 180, and stuff the excess wire under a ball cap.
That's my only complaint - I wish the wire was 3"-4" shorter - A "BH" version, if you will.
Oh - I assume you got the "standard" packaging and not that BS "Frustration Free" packaging.
To truly appreciate something, you gotta work for for it and that includes opening packaging.

The lady voice that tells you when you're "power on.... Battery ...level high" is a nice way to start your workout. Too, the connection to bluetooth is very fast. I was impressed. Sound is pretty good and with it fully plugged into your ear, you cant hear anything but your music, and off course every foot step you take because your ear is plugged.
I'm open to any suggestions and have a difficult time accepting limitations without an honest effort on my part, you can count on that!
