Some final negotiations for benefits at the place I'm starting at in another week. One of the benefits is they will pay my membership to train at some point during the day at a place like 2 minutes away from where I'll be working.

Hit a touch n go PR of 335 today. Some guy saw me and asked if I wanted to try his bench shirt. I got really excited, but it was unfortunately just a slanger. Still took him up on it and it reminded me that I really aught to buy one.

Yea threw me off when he came back with a slingshot instead of a shirt lol. Also I think my brunch meal of fried chicken waffle sandwich and sweet potato fries with a big bowl of maple syrup has been key to my last few PRs.

Hay guise. Had a decent meet considering all the BS that's gone on the past month and not to mention not touching a barbell for the past three weeks.
Came away from the meet with a qualification to go to GPC worlds.
SPF meet was awesome, judging was very strict, but fair, and a lot of openers got no-lifts called. I couldn't have axt for more and am glad it was neither sizzling nor summer for the Sizzling Summer Meet. A very not-humid 76°F, felt great.

Also, I met a lot of great people today, real quality folks. And since all my friends are no-phun *******s, I'm celebrating by myself with a case of Red Marker Ale, a 10-pack of chocolate chip cookies, and a DiGiorno stuft crust all to myself. Partly because I weighed in 17 lb. less than I thought I would, but still 15 lb. shy of my target weight class.
