Just watched that 30 minute documentary thing on Garry Frank, holy chit was he ever a well rounded lifter. All the lifts in that documentary looked pretty damn legit too.
For my experienced fam members, what kind of gear was that lifting in (2000-2002), just early multiply stuff?
Also, thanks for the DL advice bros.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

It makes my bicep supertight and delt also my pec on the other side has been getting sore due to more load on that side? Squats have suffered as well along with lower back pain and neck stiffness

Yeah pretty cool personality too, he randomly showed up at one of our meets (keep in mind we don't even have an official federation or anything like that and basically just started competing 2 years ago, have no idea how he heard about it) and instantly became the crowd's favorite lifter, everybody got fired up when he went for his DL's, first time I saw a crowd go really crazy at a pl meet - also imo the definition of a true sportsman, you'll see

Yeah, Frank was a beast. Strangely enough, I was at a faculty meeting a while back, and we were talking about our hobbies, and I mentioned powerlifting. This woman asks me, "Do you know of a guy named Garry Frank?" She was good friends with him, and was in his wedding. Small world.
637/390tng/615 - belt/wraps, best gym lifts.
600/370/600 - best competition lifts.
575/330/560 - best competition lifts at 181 raw.

Fixed for you bro^ good try
Im not saying its the devil, that sh!t keeps me alive.
But yes, it does effect the inflammation and healing process in acute cases. And yes, it can be found it peer reviewed studies.
One issue is that doctors will prescribe them in stupid amounts. If they're taken in normal amounts for short periods during the acute stage they're a lot more effective.
Little different. I use em both. I like naproxen for back pain.Last edited by Daemonium; 10-07-2015 at 05:09 PM.

Opiates are way better. Just go to the dock and do some non drug seeking behavior until you get prescribed **** that actually works.
Best lifts in Compeition 560/350/650 and a 1560 total @ 290lbs
2017 Goals are a 1100+ Push/Pull total with 400+/700+ @242/275

I think my observations are in line with yours.
The best raw bench I've seen in person was Greg Doucette doing right about 500 @ 198, he was at max legal width too. I've seen Chris Murray bench a bit at the gym, and he's done about 510 in a contest raw @ 230 ish, and he benches like 1-2 fingers inside of max legal width.YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorthStrongSC

Definitely seems like the biggest benchers take the maximum legal grip. There are some exceptions, e.g. the Lilliebridges all bench pretty narrow. Eric has his pinkies an inch inside the rings iirc. LS McClain is pretty narrow. Derek Kendall is also inside the rings I believe. I can bench more wide but I can't do it anymore cause of the stress on my pec.

I usually end up taking it during training cuz I'm like fuuck you body stop hurting. If I'm heavy squatting or pulling then I'll take before. Not sure if I've ever noticed improvement in recovery or not, lifting is definitely better. General control of inflammation is one thing - I can't imagine theres a lifter out there that hasn't had to deal with tendonitis of some sort. I'm more hesitant when I'm giving it to guys with legit muscle/lig tears in the first couple days. It also depends how long their season is/how far in the season they are.
