Weird thing is, is that the whole day seemed to be spotted and loaded and judged etc perfectly, but then they fuk up the most important lifter's opening deadlift smh.
I hope WRPF has a similar turnout as far as caliber of lifters, and level of competition.

After seeing a hard workout you may want to complain and want others to pity you for the work you have to do. Your mom will pity you. Your girl will pity you. I may pity you, but your competition will not pity you. They will step on you, walk over you and spit on you. Boris Sheiko

I wonder when DG's next meet will be. I bet he'll be gunning hard to retake his record.

Well if it was a 15kg misload then it cost him the All Time total. He has a right to be upset.

yeah I didn't have my shoulders back. I could feel it and would not have been happy with whites.
what a freakin' day. Malan's misload was -7.5kg and he elected to take the as loaded weight vs a retake.
dan had dieted down to 239-240 to make the cut to 220, he had been walking around at like 255-260 for a bit before he dieted down.
I totaled 915kg/2017lbs on 771/529/716.
Lessons for next time: pay attention to the weights people are putting in and time wrapping properly.

Malan ended up just using the misloaded lift as part of his total. Missed his second attempt and scratched thrid so he didn't take the total. He set a new squat record though.
The stream is still saved on youtube so you can go through it and look for DGs lifts but it's like a 4 hour video lmao. I'm sure the videos will be up on like someones instagram so check that out.Liverpool F.C.

Malan's deadlift was 7.5kg lighter than he called for, he accepted that weight instead of re-taking it.
he missed his 2nd and third attempts, think he hurt his hammie. I don't remember what he totaled...but 470-265-372.5 (misload vs the 380 called weight) yieleds a 1107.5kg/2441.59lb total.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

Yeah he looked great pulling leading up to the meet, just wasn't his day I guess.
Sidenote Bill, you wouldn't happen to know of any decent gyms in the Livermore/Dublin area would you? Might be working in that area soon and would rather train there to avoid traffic heading back home.Meet bests: 450/305/545

doing my first wrapped meet in December and this is what I'm worried about... timing the wrap. I'm also solo and don't train with a team so there's only so many wraps I can do before my forearms cramp up. Prepping the wraps before actually putting them on is what makes me cramp

CSA Gym in Pleasanton. its an MMA/Crossfit gym with a sizeable powerlifting team headed by Jesse Burdick.
get a wrap roller, and some thickish rubber bands. get 3 pairs of wraps too, that way you can roll them up in one go with less forearm strain and then deploy as needed per attempt.
I would've been fine forearm wise but the wrap kept slipping b/c my hands were so sweaty.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

The joint probably is fine. Do exercises to activate and strengthen your vastus medialis and gluteus medius (google it). A huge majority of lifters/athletes have the same problem - its best taken care of before it develops into something else. Do lots of ankle mobility/calf stretching on top of that.

will google to see if i can find that here.
Thks. definitely will do it. My groin has the same problem but even worse. Switching from highbar to lowbar and stretching after squat does help me a lot.
And about the equipment. Should i buy the harbinger belt or inzer belt. Harbinger is cheaper and available but some guys said inzer is way better.166 x5 Squat
