I wouldnt call anyone who disagrees a racist though. partially because muslims aren't a race, and partially because they are simply listening to the biggoted opinions of others and are ignorant in terms of perspective ( holocaust anyone? Crusades? Shootings in Norway? unjustified US invasions of bush claiming to be the work of the christian god? ).

Also, muslims in today's world seem worse because they have been deprived of education compared to the west, and so still hold literal and fundamental views on their respective ancient texts, just like westerners did in the past. Thankfully education has brought us out of that phase. In time, and with more science books being dropped and less bombs, the middle east would catch up.

I say WOULD because it will not happen. How on earth would western companies and governments exploit these unintelligent regions for their resources? This has been going on for 100s of years, since the renaissance in the west really. Why would the west (as in it's leaders) want that to change?
