    Let's talk coffee

I was just wondering, for those who drink coffee (especially those on a cut), how do you drink it? What and how much creamer/milk/H&F/sugar do you use?

Do you have any preference? Any reasoning one way or another?

Me personally, I prefer coffee without sugar, but I like half & half to neutralize the acidity and bitterness of the sugar-less coffee, and to give it a base balance… Only problem is H&H is loaded with calories and fat. I prefer to use my fat allotment on something healthier like fish or PB.

I’ve been trying fat free milk instead of H&H, but it’s like drinking mud mixed with acid…

I use fat free half & half, 20 calories per tbsp & tastes just fine to me. But yes, I drink coffee with h&h even when cutting. Coffee every morning crew.

I also don't use any sugar or sweetener, makes it taste nasty, imo.

    Black all the way!

When I first started drinking coffee, I had it with milk and sugar. Then I graduated to just milk, and now completely black.

Now if I have it with either milk or sugar, I feel like I'm going to puke. I'd recommend anyone looking to cut to try it black for a couple of days and see how you like it - if it's GOOD QUALITY coffee/espresso, you may be very surprised.

Like they say. . . once you go black you never go back LOL

i drink it black with some stevia at home. At work, im experimenting with the creamer since its only 15 cals per tbsp (not going to kill my cut)

i have tried h&h and that sheet is gold lol. but im not too crazy over coffee, its just an energy boost to get stuff done when im lazy.

When I drink tea or coffee, I do not put any milk or cream or any dairy product in, because dairy products kill the flavenoids and other plant-based nutritional value. Once in a blue moon I might put some caramel or put some whipped cream in, but that is very rare. I also use a little stevia and a little raw sugar.

If you don't mess with your tea or coffee much, it can be good for you, IMO.

I typically trying 30-40oz of coffee in the morning. At the beginning of preo I will add 1tbsp of heavy whipping cream to one cup of coffee and drink the other cups plain.

There is also a sugar free calorie free coffee syrup you can buy online they have really good flavors and doesn't ruin prep lol

I only drink iced coffee. Once you go black, you'll never go back.

I use sugar + half & half, but I'll drink it black if I have to. I especially love French-pressed, but only when I have the time to make it. I usually just put it in an Ekobrew cup and use my keurig because it's faster.

I used to be a creamer guy, but as I drink it daily now and get up early for my work out before work (5 am), I like it straight-up black. When I do throw in some creamer on occasion, I'll get the sugar-free Caramel Creme that only has 15 cal/15 ml...easy to fit in.
