i went to a best buy once and the cashier was like 6'3" 360lbs, long hair, goatee, dragon tooth necklace (extreme unabashed nerdity) etc. and he was the most funny, cool cashier i've ever had. i walked away thinking "i want to be that guy's friend"

You don't see them coz they never go out in public. I was renting a basement with my buddy when i went to college and upper floor of the house was rented by 4 neckbeards. Holy chit it was discusting, they dressed as 'spirit animals' and wore fedoras all the time it was messed cuz

Saw a legit overweight neckbeard with a fedora a couple weeks ago at the mall when I came out of the gym.

from my personal observations. the only fedora wearing people i've seen are failing musician's who think they are actually going to make it or sloots in their 30's who think they are j-lo never a neck beard but i imagine they are all holding doors for their mothers and guarding "the castle" till she comes home.

Video game store in the mall in my town has this room off to the side where they hold magic the gathering and dungeons and dragons tournaments and stuff. Has huge plate glass windows onto the walkway so you look in as you walk past the store. It's like a neckbeard zoo.
And yeah, they look like that in real life. It's wall to wall fedoras, trench coats, knee length leather jackets and chains connected to their wallets. Untucked dress shirts from the bargain rack paired with jeans. You name it, they fit the stereotype,
There's always one or two token women among them too. If you think the guys are weird, the women are frigging insane. Bet they're exhilarating sexually though. Shame they're gross.

We had a fedora neckbeard at our school and he was known to be the smelliest mofo around. You could literally smell him across the room, I couldnt even tell what it smelled like. Just stink. Legend has it he only showered once a month, but I doubt he ever showererd. He started crying once when girls wouldnt sit next to him in a radius of 5 meters, because of his smell.
