Continue Working Out During Soccer Season?

    Hi,

Soccer season is coming up pretty soon and I had a question or two. Ive started running consistently now and will doing cardio impede the gains I am trying to make when working out? If Im trying to get bigger, will running a lot, everyday stop that? Also, should I stop working out everything but my legs altogether, or the opposite of that.

    Thanks,
    Eric.

Well depending on your calorie intake cardio could make your gains smaller. Generally people when bulking will do cardio 2-3 times per week for the best results. I assume when you say stop working out you are talking about in season ... I wouldn't stop working out completely but since soccer is a very demanding sport you probably don't want to do more than 2 days ... even 1 fullbody workout might be good enough. Its all about finding what works for you but you don't want to work your legs and not your upperbody or vice versa.
