How Much Water Do You Drink Per Day?

Everyone knows the importance of drinking water (or they should).

It is vital and helps with recovery, aiding weight loss, etc.

The question is, are you drinking enough? If so, how do you make sure you get enough?

I personally have a 24 ounce water bottle. I try to drink it 3 times, along with 3 cups of straight black coffee before lunch time. That gets me to about 75 ounces (not including the 36 ounces of coffee I've just drunk)

Then I'll shoot for one more bottle after lunch, putting me at 100 ounces. Then I'll drink a glass with dinner.

All in all, I shoot for close to a gallon.

Good post. Most people walk around dehydrated. Not healthy. I drink several liters of water per day.

That's not a real thing. But I do drink a couple gallons a day of water, coffee, and diet coke. Always have. I know where the bathroom is in every building I've ever been it.

I do drink a lot of water though, almost out of habit especially when at work. I just keep filling my stainless water jug and sipping away (and walking to the bathroom is almost cardio)

I guess I avg around a gallon or more of water and a couple calorie free green tea drinks.

I drink around 1 gallon daily. As a rule of thumb I aim for a clear urine to make sure I am properly hydrated.

I drink right around 100 oz. of water plus 3 or 4 cups of green tea each day, and sometimes a diet coke in the afternoon. Urine is always clear.

I used to drink more than that, but lately I haven't been drinking anything after 8 or 8:30 pm most nights (except for a few cocktails on Fri/Sat). That helps me get through the night without getting up to pee.

2 gallons everyday 365 days a year!! I drink 64ozs during my workout alone. I'm pretty crazy about my water intake.

I go back and forth a bit. Some times I am really pounding water, other times based on thirst. I think its one of those things we like to over analyze and hype and as long as your pee isnt neon yellow you are probably good.

I drink alot especially when I workout(2-3 containers full of a 'blender bottle, which includes my pre-workout). I have been trying to drink most of if early in the day, because I find myself up at 1-3 am having to take a piss every night. Anyone else experiencing this?

Maybe I just need to not drink so much water towards the end of the day/night before I got to bed. The problem is, I get some hunger pangs sometimes since I'm trying to stick to a somewhat strict calorie count.

I know I drink a lot....cause I pee a lot...lmao. I have about 40oz in the morning. 1 cup of coffee and that is about 10oz. At work I drink 3 32oz bottles and then 16oz more while at home before I go to bed.Close to if not a gallon

If 8 oz is one cup, than I drink (including cofee, tea and etc) about 17-18 cups a day =136 oz? Is it a lot or little?

I don't drink enough. I've been doing poorly in regards to water intake....honestly, 3 glasses per day. I NEED to step it up.

I've never seen any evidence that we all need to be forcing down a sh!tload of water in order to be optimally healthy. You guys drinking a gallon plus every day must be spending a lot of time in the pisser. Personally, I drink water when I am thirsty and that is it....which means I don't drink very much.
