Everyone knows the importance of drinking water (or they should).
It is vital and helps with recovery, aiding weight loss, etc.
The question is, are you drinking enough? If so, how do you make sure you get enough?
I personally have a 24 ounce water bottle. I try to drink it 3 times, along with 3 cups of straight black coffee before lunch time. That gets me to about 75 ounces (not including the 36 ounces of coffee I've just drunk)
Then I'll shoot for one more bottle after lunch, putting me at 100 ounces. Then I'll drink a glass with dinner.
All in all, I shoot for close to a gallon.
Are you getting enough water?

The hydrologic cycle is actually based around my daily water consumption
I do drink a lot of water though, almost out of habit especially when at work. I just keep filling my stainless water jug and sipping away (and walking to the bathroom is almost cardio)
I guess I avg around a gallon or more of water and a couple calorie free green tea drinks.

I drink right around 100 oz. of water plus 3 or 4 cups of green tea each day, and sometimes a diet coke in the afternoon. Urine is always clear.
I used to drink more than that, but lately I haven't been drinking anything after 8 or 8:30 pm most nights (except for a few cocktails on Fri/Sat). That helps me get through the night without getting up to pee.

I drink alot especially when I workout(2-3 containers full of a 'blender bottle, which includes my pre-workout). I have been trying to drink most of if early in the day, because I find myself up at 1-3 am having to take a piss every night. Anyone else experiencing this?
Maybe I just need to not drink so much water towards the end of the day/night before I got to bed. The problem is, I get some hunger pangs sometimes since I'm trying to stick to a somewhat strict calorie count.

I know I drink a lot....cause I pee a lot...lmao. I have about 40oz in the morning. 1 cup of coffee and that is about 10oz. At work I drink 3 32oz bottles and then 16oz more while at home before I go to bed.Close to if not a gallon

I've never seen any evidence that we all need to be forcing down a sh!tload of water in order to be optimally healthy. You guys drinking a gallon plus every day must be spending a lot of time in the pisser. Personally, I drink water when I am thirsty and that is it....which means I don't drink very much.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
