what would be the best time to take amino supplements? I'm currently using Cellucor alpha aminos and take them during my workout when I'm starting to feel tried to help me keep going but what is your opinions on the best time to take them.

I was answering his question -"what would be the best time to take amino supplements?" I never mentioned anything about Alpha Amino, however I do believe it is a good product and would like to try it. Yes those ingredients you mentioned should help with pump, but still if OP is feeling "tired" during his workout I doubt any BCAA/Inra sup will make a large difference.

I prefer Aminos for fasted training, post workout, and if I'm in a caloric deficit and my meals are spread out I'll use them in between to take something in.

BCAA's would only benefit you for fasted AM Training dosed pre-workout or as a bolus between meals 4-6 hours apart

i would not suggest taking nitrates or hydromax post-workout
I would rather have the OP get the results of the pumps from those 2 ingredients taken as a pre-workout dose, as well as the hydration complex in the product + Citrulline which is best IMO for pre-workout for lactic acid build up and pumps.

I personally like to sip on mine during a fasted session but as well during the day as a normal drink. I have a tub at the office that instead of going and getting some sugar drink or cup of plain water, I will mix a scoop of amino's in with my shaker and have that. Figured that per serving the amino's are less than a buck per drink (sometimes far less than that) is much more cost effective than $2 out of a drink machine.

Pre, intra, between meals. Not a good idea to take it WITH your high protein meals as that may promote protein wasting. Additionally, if you are having a low protein or low quality protein meal, you can take a dose of BCAAs to boost the leucine content to optimally boost mTOR.
I like having EAAs intra personally. Our EAAs product has a whopping 5 grams of leucine per serving along with the other EAAs.Completed Logs & Reviews:
