Apparently they have basically a week left to live. Latest news is that plans to move them to the island where they will be executed has been delayed.
I hope the Indonesian PM grants them clemency and allows them to live. Any one been following this story? (Aus brahs should be well aware by now due to media coverage).
Really phucking sad if they end up getting executed.
Your thoughts on them?

Hope they don't get executed.
What a waste of 10 years rehabilitation if they do. Plus, getting KILLED for transporting drugs? what a f*cking backwards country. The argument that those drugs could have killed a lot of people is ridiculous - that's the people who take the drugs decision, if they die, they themselves are responsible for it.
Australian tourists need to boycott that sh*t hole.

A LOT of people care about them. Have you even followed the story? Watch the interviews of them in prison and tell me you don't feel sympathy for them. Both of them are rehabilitated, and Sukumaran is completely harmless and knows he done goofed. LOL @ being a heartless ******* and having no sympathy for them.
They were all stupid 18-21 year olds. No one is saying they didn't commit the crime, it's the fact that they are both obviously rehabilitated and do not deserve to die. If they got arrested in Australia they probably wouldn't even get a life sentence.

That is a really stupid question, dude, just saying...
I'm in two minds on this one, like many people. I think execution is very harsh for the crime, of course. But on the other hand, it's their country and their rules. And they probably execute dozens of Indonesians every year for the same crimes and no Aussies gives a chit about that. So what's the difference with these two guys? Why should it matter that they come from the same country as me? They're humans and don't deserve this punishment, yes. But the Indonesians and any other people subject to the same treatment are just as human. So I am partially for it, given one of the most important parts of the law is that it's applied consistently. There are no men like me; there is only me.

8kg is a lot of drugs brah, trying to smuggle it through the airport without knowing or bribing government officials is retarded. Tourists have been jailed for 2 ecstasy pills.
These two were hanged for 5 ounces of heroin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barlow_...bers_execution
These guys tried to smuggled 18 POUNDS, trying to smuggle drugs in South East Asia is retarded unless you know what you're doing and have connection. The drug laws are so so so strict.
If you think the death penalty for 8kg of heroin is strict....In Singapore, it's 15 grams. If you're caught with 15 grams of heroin, it'd a death sentence.Last edited by UnemployedBrah; 02-17-2015 at 12:31 AM.

People dont deserve to be punished by a country because we perceive elements of their culture as barbaric? Whether it is true or not it is quite the self righteous attitude. Singapore employs capital punishment and is far superior to most countries.
And where are the self righteous ****s when it comes to the thousands of people killed for adultery, homosexuality, apostasy and witch craft?

Fuk em, they knew what the penalty was when they committed the crime and it's not like they were desperate for the money... they were greedy, entitled kunts out to make a quick buck by putting poison on our streets.
This isn't some dude getting done for growing weed and cutting into your supply of doobies... it's someone putting HEROIN on the streets. Big difference.
These guys did it, nobody snuck 10lb of heroin into their pants, the only reason they werent shot like the dogs they are YEARS ago is that they have Australian passports and the former administration was too scared.
Props to the honcho in Indonesia for doing what needs to be done to clean up his country, we continually bitch that these countries won't handle their own problems and then when they do it we bitch about that too. Crazy sentences for token amounts of weed are silly, shooting people who import commercial quantities of heroin is not.
They're both thugs, it's pretty easy to "reform" when you have no other option. You can guarantee if they managed to get out they'd write multi million dollar books and live the high life.

They took the chance and now they are paying for it. All they saw back then was $$$. They are at the mercy of authorities and can only beg for their lives. They all look so small, poor and innocent when they are caught, then they all cry rivers.
I do feel sympathy for them and after 10 years yeah I guess release them. But they are still drug smugglers who took a chance and got caught. If they made it, it would not have been the last time. Greed got them in jail and possibly executed.

If they kill all who come, they should stop coming.
I think it's a bit harsh but if we had Capitol punishment for certain crimes in Australia then it might sort a few people out. Our legal system is weak as piss. Pretty much this.
They knew the risks and the consequences, this is just another case of liberalism and deflecting responsibility. So many people are blaming the AFP, but the AFP weren't the ones who gave them the drugs to smuggle.
Their actions are their responsibility, now they have to deal with the consequences.***Anti-Hu Crew***

Fuk all of you who agree with a death sentence, stop with your bullchit mentality of justice thinking you're so judicious. These men don't deserve to die; from what I've read and seen, and that is according to 5 of the Prime Ministers of Australia and anyone who has a heart. They've been in prison for 10 years, and death row for that matter, imagine that everyday you are constantly reminded of your impending death. You would be rehabilitated.
The retarded monkey government of Indonesia are only executing them as shock therapy to deter others from doing it again, they know it's fukked up but they'll do it if it has any little impact on the drug smuggling rate.
Hope these men are released.

What an outrage. We Australians are the master race, we shouldn't have to respect the sovereignty and laws of a peasant country like Indonesia. We have a god-given right to smuggle enormous amounts of highly illicit, addictive, and dangerous drugs wherever the hell we like. These men were in their early 20s when they repeatedly smuggled heroin, and we all know that at age 23, one doesn't know right from wrong, nor can one read the giant signs plastered all over Bali airport outlining the penalty for drug smuggling. They are precious little darlings who were forced at gun point!
Let's all boycott Indonesia for enforcing their laws! Remember, we love it when foreigners tell us how to run our country, so we should be doing the same to them.
not srs.

Retard confirmed. Many people in Bali are executed a year for 10-20grams of Herion, these ****s had 8000 grams but it's ok because they're Australian right?
Do you even know how death penalties work? The only reason they wasn't instantly executed because they got Australian passports and kept appealing their cases. You think an Australian life is worth more than someone from Bali? **** off, they're lucky they got to live their 10 years.
