I didn't mean, nor did I say, that all guys lack wit, etc etc. My point was how insecure a person would have to be to send abusive messages to people on a forum they don't know. I don't imagine for half of them the people in their day to day life know that on the Internet the are trolling and sending quite horrid messages to strangers.
Nowhere did I say anything about every guy. I said most of those who were rude, in response to a member's comment about what she experienced, as in most of the people who responded in the thread she linked in a way that was rude and disrespectful because she was a woman. I also wondered why so many people feel the need to do this, not most, not half, not all, but many.
I keep out of the misc altogether and the relationship misc was where the incident happened that prompted me to start this thread. It is just easier to keep out and not run the risk at all and it seems from this thread that there are others doing this as well, which as I said is a shame but I suppose part of life online.

IDK... that poster called out the OP in that thread and then posted in here that "being nice pisses them off" so perhaps that approach rustled some jimmies.

I think that most women that have a problem with the misc. are annoying.
Is that a horrible thing to say?

It's a different game over there. The vast majority of posts are supposed to be humorous in nature, surely misogynistic but really not meant to be taken seriously. The problems occur when you go against the grain and enter a serious discussion. It certainly attracts a certain mind and there are clearly posters who have gone through some sort of emotional trauma, and as a result take a certain dislike to the opposide gender. And of course, being in that environment with others agreeing for either the sheer adusurity of the post or acutally agreeing with it somewhat, the cycle continues. In anycase, if you go in there and take everything at face value, that chit is like poison. The best thing is to avoid it and not get too rustled. You're going to get negged unless you're willing to stick it out and not actually engage with the real problematic posts. If you do - well good luck because you're going to be called a 'feminist sloot' or something in that vein and end up in a petty argument with some random idiot.

They're not abusive. I've been there even when I had an AV, and yeah I've been called names, but those are usually already "red" meaning that everybody knows they're idiots anyway.
I've never had a problem there nor have I ever been negged there.
All females, even the annoying ones, don't have a problem, only their rep power is super high. Not gonna happen in the female section by the way...
O.k, I admit I hardly have a serious discussion there, since I'm not interested in debating with twenty year olds and it would be boring, but maybe you can show me a thread like that so I could see.

Remember it's the internet. Laugh them off and move on in your life. Absolutely no reason to get worked up over people around here.

I don't usually report posts, and when I do is if somebody is littering the female forum. What saddens me isn't the fact something is posted, but rather that somebody's brain is so messed up that he thought it was funny to post it. And taking it down won't fix his messed up head.

I agree. never come in here and probably won't after this response. Someone linked this thread here in reg. misc and i must say it surprises me that (most) everyone is so thinned skinned. Trust me, the misc is just as hard on each other than they are on you. If i had a dollar for every time i get my age quoted i'd be CEO'n 10k/day. Big deal. To the one poster who said they aren't very bright over there...i beg to differ. Some idiots, like any other board/forum but there are some very knowledgeable and downright hilarious people. In all honesty, fights between women on threads in Misc can be worse than ones i see with guys. Hell, even the first page of this thread some were even attacking other women with, God forbid, a chest in their AV's. lol'n Really?? Last i knew this sights name had 'body' in the title? Hell, half the ads/models/articles on here show as much T/A as they can. You guys crying about that too?? Or just the few females in reg. misc? Take it with a grain of salt if you venture in but it makes me laugh when half of you all 'lurk' cause you know it's downright funny at times but then you come in here and talk schit how we are all knuckle draggin inbreds. Feel free to neg..anyone that knows me knows i could care less. Carry on ladies.

Loln..hell that's a Misc greeting. You should feel proud. Pro Tip for misc'n though....if any response to you is more than a sentence in length you can almost guarantee it's a copy/pasta. Especially, from me. Our attention span fades quickly unless your AV's have boobays in them

He was very mean to me too, and I didn't even post in a thread. Some user started a thread and reference my bodyspace page because of the comment I made when I repped that user and I remember Richstrong making some kind of mean comment . I cried myself to sleep that night.
Just kidding, you know I love ya, ya old geezer .
I actually found the entire thread completely hilarious and actually felt bad that the OP got banned for it.Workout Log / Chat thread...Embrace the Dragon: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169711903

I don't get the "thin skin" comment. Some things are offensive, it's not a matter of thin skin. If we had to use the excuse of the thin skin, then racist garbage would be just fine, hey I just called you n*ger why you mad, you have thin skin.
Calling all women dumb sloots, or saying they are too dumb to be allowed to vote is indicative of low intelligence, sorry, it is what it is. Using the anonymity of Internet to spew verbal diarrhea is indicative of low intelligence AND low self esteem. Gen Misc lurkers that come to this thread after it's mentioned in some Gen Misc thread, just to neg women, is also indicative of low intelligence.
Saying that a civilized discussion about something is "crying about it" is infantile, which goes to show mental age and biological age are unrelated numbers.
This is the Female Misc, where we may in fact discuss things like this, if you have a problem with it, feel free to go right back to the Gen Misc and don't let the door hit you on the way out.Follow my 2018 competition prep here:

So you state..."Saying that a civilized discussion about something is "crying about it" is infantile"...Well you do realize that calling people names or referring to them using derogatory terms (something you seem to have a problem with the misc doing) is also infantile...or as you state "indicative of low intelligence". Yet weren't you the one that called me a troll the other day when I highlighted your hypocrisy. For some reason, I really don't think you were using the term "Troll" in a positive light.
You know the point that really resonated with me is the following. You have made it very clear that you find many of the comments in the misc to be offensive. And in order to do so, I'm guessing you must lurk the misc from time to time. Botika kindly posted a viable option for you to take...which is to simply report the posts. It only takes seconds to do so and the mods can do their jobs and investigate. I've done it in the past with spam and they deal with that very quickly.
Yet your response didn't seem to indicate that you have any intention of reporting these offensive posts. You consider these posts to be a problem but it seems like you aren't willing to be part of the solution...but you'll spend time complaining about it.
You gonna call me a troll again?Workout Log / Chat thread...Embrace the Dragon: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169711903
