It's simple. If you work a job that requires you to move tons of chit around, buy a truck. If you have a dirt bike/atv or something that you have to cart around to go do badass rides in the wilderness, buy a truck. If you're a hunter with tons of gear to bring, maaaybe buy a truck.






If none of the above apply, don't buy a truck.

Most people who buy 30k+ trucks aren't buying a work truck, they're buying an SUV with the back seats chopped out.

Work trucks are cheap and hardcore, meant to get messed up.

If you're buying for vanity only, why the hell would you get something as impractical as a truck, when you could buy a luxury car, sports, car, motorcycyles (!), etc

really want that truck. Trucks are great for people with normal jobs who do the occasional camping, house work, mountain biking, but theres no reason to buy these massive full size trucks. Chevy hit the mark with this one. You can buy a colorado that gets 27mpg and costs 22 grand brand new.

That being said the commercials are totally stupid. Ford talks about costumer satisfaction and the capabilities of his trucks in their commercials instead

The Colorado is a much smaller truck. The 27mpg is for the 4cyl (still 200 hp) compared the ford's 6 cyl.

Reliability? If you're talking about a GM truck I think you would be disappointed.
