18-20-> I was at college but all I did was play WoW and had a 3.3 in history (aw fuk bye)
20-21.5-> parents yanked me out, I fought video game addiction while working a near min wage job
22-now-> reenrolled back in college (a different one), doing a stem major, about to graduate with honors
Ho lee fuk, from 18 to about 22 I was pretty fcked up mentally. I remember barely any of it. Would play wow and Starcraft all day. What a waste.
So glad my parents snapped me out of that. Also, weightlifting helped me out a bit. Plus I'm actually really interested in school and my scientific work.
Cliffs: learn from your mistakes, I went beyond full retard and I still am gonna make it. I wish I could go back in time and conquer my addiction 4 years ago. Oh well, live and learn

about 8 years wasted on a panic disorder which prevented me from doing anything other then go to work.
In my case I'm not actually bothered, I can see light at the end of the tunnel and when ready will pack 8 lost\ years in 1 year. Its going to be very very exciting & radical and I can't wait
but don't sweat it when looking back.... at the time you were probably enjoying yourself and having fun, so why look down on yourself that whatever you did was "wasted" (unless panic disorder or coma)

18 - 23
- Always sick.
- Almost every joint in body ****ed up in some way (couldn't work out).
- Gambling addict.
- Spent a lot of weekend nights working in a bar job while my friends went out and had fun.
- Terrible university results
But in the end around 22 I took things into my own hands...turned everything around. So I'm 26 now and back on track and have lost a few years but the way I see it, many people lose time in their lives. Can only look forward.

Dang bro stay safe, I had some of those symptoms from 18-21. You're gonna make it. I will say that I learned some valuable school of hard knock lessons lol.
Feels. Hate those

There were about three years where I was fighting and opiate addiction. Those years just gone.

20-24. And it's not like I was even sitting on my ass or anything, was busy in grad school. Just not for the career I actually wanted. Actually do wish I can blame it on something more like depression or drugs so it doesn't seem so "lost" of a time period. Wasted a lot of time (and tuition loan money) to figure it out. Only now getting back on track.

for me personally major turning point was believing in myself. I was always weak, couldn't even pull up once, and kinda accepted my fate. But then one day I decided to go hard, and went to work out on dips outside at night so no one would be there and observe me. Slowly I built some strength, and found courage in myself to go gym. Was really insecure about myself there, that feel when you wish no one noticed you etc etc. But then I realized no one laughs at weak guys at gym and became more confident and started to ask bigger guys for advice. They saw that I wasn't typical curlbrah, that I put all my efforts on compound movements and kinda started to treat me nicely and with respect, although I am still skinny kent despite gaining 10 kg of mass since joining gym.

Yeah another gaming addict 12-17. First CoD and then League of legends (diamond 1 with over 5000 games played) Was literally playing 10 ish hours a day and many all nighters. can't remember anything from those years tbh apart from a bit of footy and cricket.
4 months since quit video games. Sold accounts for a tidy profit, on that no fap, gym, sport and now focusing on school. Feeling much better.
Cliffs: **** video games.. So much more to life than getting a triple collat no scope yy fgt kill or a penta kill.

Pretty much nothing, which is why I consider it a lost year. Applied for jobs daily, lifted, misced and not much else. Fukking sucked. I actually had a ****ty and tedious part-time job that I lost after month (I'd prefer to not go into details) and got my current one about a month later and started a few weeks after that.
I got a job, moved out, and go out every weekend. For the most part, my life has done a complete 360.
Lol. I'm turning 24 soon, I started the new job back in September.
