    Better call Saul

so what did everybody think. You can definitely tell it was written by the breaking bad guys. Same dark humor. Loved tying in the Mexican meth dealer from BB in the second episode. I'm really liking it so far

    It was ahhight.

Tuco was easily a top 3 non-main character from BB. So quality choice in using him in the first couple episodes.

Agreed. They had to do something to start the series off right and I thought Tuco was a great choice.

The scene with Tuco and Saul negotiating on what happens to the skateboarders had me laughing pretty hard.

I'm hoping the scrap yard guy finds his way in there. I'm thinking with his legal knowledge, they would work him in there somehow.

The guy with the bell would be a good one too.

I like the potential they have to unkill people in the prequel but then you know they can't kill them off.

The first episode of Breaking Bad was filled with excitement, quirkiness and intense acting. Better Call Saul is just another show. I was very disappointed.

hmmm....I thought most of the whole first SEASON of Breakin' Bad was painfully slow....I stuck with it, and somewhere in the beginning of the 3rd season, I was then truly hooked....

but I felt that the slowness in general could cause a lot of people to abandon watching the series......

Agree 100%. I didn't like the first season and only stuck with it because so many friends were raving about the show. By season 3 I couldn't stop watching. I like that they ended the first episode of Saul with a "NO WAY!" moment.
