Like every month? Like would it be good to alternate from 1 routine to another every month?

Thats a little fast in my opinion. Changing your routine doesn't have to be done on a timed basis. If you feel its grown stale or your not gaining then mix it up. You can keep a routine for a long time, I just like to mix it up every 4-6 weeks, like go from dumbell to barbell, close grip to wide grip, variate some exercises. You don't need to overall the routine tho. Just keep it guessing!
