I've been devoutly religious, and it would be the same as the above for me.
I think it's difficult for devoutly religious people to empathize with how non-religious people view them. They seem to either think they are secretly admired or 'hated'.
When IME and IMO think in the majority of the cases they are viewed by the non-religious as 'intense'.If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...

lol at the people ITT claiming they would stop talking to someone once they find out the person is somewhat religious. You're basically doing the same judgemental chit as the religious people you hate.
and no, "if you believe in God, prayers, you're an idiot blablabla" isnt a legit reason unless you know the person long enough and how their religion affects them. I love how atheists, or at least just the internet, euphoric atheists think that all religious ppl believe in just praying and some miracle or magic will happen. No, they do regular chit that regular people do but they also pray in their own time. If you actually believe that you can get a million dollars, or dunk a basketball by just praying and not working hard then you are an idiot. But to completely go NC, or think youre smarter than someone just because they pray is potato as well.
Sometimes ppl just do it to feel better, or it's a spiritual thing why the fuk does it matter to you.

Seen something like this. My friend is religious and always wears a cross neclace. At a party a girl asked him if he is religious and he said yes and she basically got confused how is he religious at this age and then quickly just went to talk to another person instead.
I wouldn't mind a religious girl who only believes in god but doesn't study bible, doesn't talk about it with everyone and can still have fun.Always pick 4 crew

We all have our beliefs, personally I wouldn't associate with people that still have religious views in 2015. 'Religion' was put in place by the powers that be prior to the government and politicians to hold control over the masses and for 1000s of years it worked. The sudden influx of 'casual Christians' and atheists in the early 20th century saw a need for laws and a physical being to uphold them (police officers). As 'God' was losing power. If people still choose to bow down to religion then I think that's a strong judge of character.
Just my 2 centsNo social media crew.

A friend of mine is dating a very religious girl and she is insane. Always going on about how loving God is and is scared of people who aren't religious. Literally will cry if you say God doesn't exist. This is a girl in her twenties for fuk sakes.
most atheists will see someone who is very religious as crazy or illogical. It's just the way it is.
Op there are plenty of religious girls out there, don't worry about it

She probably just isn't aware of the different ways people are into religion and isn't used to it, figured if you "go to church" you must be way too into it or must be like people from some denomination she's had experience with before, will give her crap about drinking or not want to smack her around in bed or whatever it is she likes doing.
Write her off if she's that easy to scare off.Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

Being "religious" is a serious problem to most people these days, brah. Certainly here in the UK, it's really looked down upon and a lot (most?) youngish people hate everything to do with it. My city has a lot of old churches and if I mention one of them in some neutral capacity then chicks will often ask, like, "...you're not religious, are you?"
I would avoid mentioning it at all, tbh. They'll probably accept it once they get to know you, but at first you always have to avoid saying things that will put people off.Could have been a slayer.
